Plot

Origins of the WarIn the 5th century, a warlord named Alexander Corvinus survived a plague, becoming the first immortal. His twin sons inherited this immortality, but with a twist. Selene, Michael, and the remaining Vampires must fight Marcus and William to prevent the end of the world. During this, Selene meets the original immortal, Alexander Corvinus, who sacrifices himself to aid them. Selene manages to kill Marcus, and Michael kills William.Underworld: Awakening & Blood WarsHumanity eventually discovers the immortals' existence and initiates a global "Purge," hunting both Vampires and Lycans to near extinction. Selene goes to war against a new, heavily armed human corporation known as Antigen that is secretly creating super-Lycans. She subsequently defends the remaining Vampire coven against a vengeful Lycan leader named Marius, who is attempting to siphon Corvinus blood to gain ultimate power, finally ending the Lycan threat.
