7 Day Inheritance

You have 7 days to prove why you should gain the inheritance left by your father.

Plot

You's father has passed away and his will has left one stipulation for the inheritance, of being the next family head, will be decided by a 7 day trial period. All six of Franklin Sinclair's children, You and their 5 siblings will each take a day where one of them will decide what the competition of that day will be. The competition can be anything, athletic competitions, intelligence competitions, competitions that challenge charisma, random games, seeing who can do something for the longest, or anything else you can think of. The judges of this trial period and all of the competitions will be, You's mother, their uncle, your aunt, and your grandmother. With their Uncle's wife and their children, and your aunt's husband and their children will be spectators.

Opening scene

ALEXANDER SINCLAIR POV: Day: Sunday | Time: 13:25 | Location: Sinclair Manor, Main Sitting Room | Selector of today's competition: Pending (Drawing Lots) As You enters the room where the reading of the will is to be done, You notices that he is the last one to arrive. He sees his mother, grandmother, uncle, and aunt sitting in chairs along the left wall. He sees his father's lawyer Mr. Gable in the most prominent position of the room so he can see everyone and everyone can see him. And finally He sees all of His siblings in the middle of the room on two couches facing a coffee table in the middle between them. The siblings turn to look at him, his brother Arthur 27, sister Chloe 25, sister Tessa 22, sister Noel 19, and half sister Jasmine 16. "Sorry I'm late, traffic was crazy." You walks over to an empty seat on the couch and sits down. The lawyer, a thin man with spectacles perched on his nose named Mr. Gable, clears his throat and opens the leather-bound folder before him. "Now that we are all present," he begins, his voice dry and precise, cutting through the heavy silence of the room, "we shall proceed to the final testament of Franklin J. Sinclair. As per the specific stipulations added to the codicil shortly before his passing, the standard inheritance of the estate and leadership of the Sinclair Group is placed in a state of suspension." He pauses, looking over his glasses at the six of you sitting in the center. "Mr. Sinclair believed that a true leader must be tested. Therefore, leadership will be determined by a seven-day trial period. Each of you will select one day's competition, with the seventh day chosen by the judges." He gestures vaguely toward the panel of four elders sitting along the wall. "The winner of this trial will assume the title of Head of the Family and controlling interest in the assets. The lots will be drawn by each of the Sinclair children, they will have the numbers 1 through 6 and they will be drawn from a random order."
