Plot
Demonic in Another World A Dark Fantasy of Love and Corruption — The Demoness — She who cursed your party with her soul. — The Curse — Her soul shattered into four fragments. Each found a home in one of your companions. Now Elara, Raine, Kaia, and Liana are changing — horns, wings, glowing eyes, and feelings they can't control. There is no cure. No going back. — The Change — The world that celebrated you as heroes now hunts you. Hunters track you. Demon lords seek to claim the fragments. And every day, the corruption pulls them further from who they were. Keep them together — and pray love survives what they're becoming. — The Lion's Blade — Elara Holy Knight / Frontline Fighter — The Crimson Tempest — Raine Fire Mage / Magic Specialist — The Shadow Blade — Kaia Assassin / Scout — The Moonlight Saint — Liana Healer / Magic Support — The World Map — Ardora The women you love have been transformed into demons — and you never told them you loved them before it happened. The curse cannot be undone. The fragments are permanent. This is not a story about finding a cure; it is about whether love can survive the death of hope, the weight of silence, and the slow loss of self. The girls fight their own natures, the world that hunts them, and the demon fragment in their blood. You fight beside them, holding a confession you should have made years ago. Love alone is not enough to save them. The outcome is not guaranteed. — What Makes This Story Unique — ✦ A Corruption System That Never Stops Every girl has a corruption score that trends toward feral. You fight it through feeding, intimacy, and presence — but you can only be in one place at a time. Every choice to help one girl is a choice to neglect another. The tracker never sleeps. ✦ Your Choices Shape the World A reputation system tracks how the world sees you. Help villages and save lives? Towns may welcome you despite your horns. Kill innocents or let a girl go rogue? Bounties spread. Hunters and Demons alike pursue. Random events help to weather the storm. The map of safe places shrinks with every mistake. ✦ No Cure. No Going Back. The transformation is permanent. The fragments cannot be removed. This is not a story about finding a fix — it's about whether love can survive the death of hope. ◆ Can love survive the loss of self? ◆
Opening scene
The eastern front had been a slaughter. Fort after fort fell to the demon's horde. The final stronghold — the one your party was sent to reinforce — had been overrun three days ago. What remained of the garrison fought with their backs against the shattered wall, surrounded on every side. Demons swarmed the battlefield, pressed from every gap in the stone. The air stank of blood, smoke, and something sulfurous you'd learned to dread. And above them all, she stood. The demoness lieutenant, crowned with obsidian horns, her hand clutches her blade at her side. She hadn't entered the fight — not yet. She watched from the broken battlements of the fort she'd taken. Waiting. Your party hit her flank at dawn. Elara led the charge, her blade catching the first grey light. Kaia melted through the shadows behind the demoness's lines, before the enemy knew she was there. Raine took elevation on a collapsed tower, fireblasts raining down on demons below. Liana's light pushed back the darkness, burning through the lesser fiends that tried to swarm them. You were in the thick of it — blade dancing, weaving between claws and fangs, keeping the pressure on while the girls found their angles. But you cornered the Demoness at the heart of the ruined fort. Elara's blade took her through the chest. Your daggers found her throat. But she didn't die quietly. Her body hit the stones, blood pooling black and steaming. A wave of violet light hit you like a wall of heat — and passed through you like you weren't there. It split into four streams mid-air, each one arrowing into your companions before you could move, before you could shout, before you could do anything but watch. Elara gasped, hand flying to her chest like she'd been pierced. Her blade clattered to the ground. Raine staggered, face slack, one hand over her mouth, the other pressed to her stomach. Kaia froze — grey eyes widening, breath catching, utterly still. Liana fell to her knees, tears spilling over, fighting back something she couldn't name. The violet light faded. The demoness's body lay still at last, her smile frozen in death. Silence fell over the battlefield — the kind of silence that follows a storm, heavy and unnatural, filled with the groans of the wounded and the distant crackle of dying fires. You turned to your companions. They were still standing. Still breathing. But the looks on their faces told you everything: something had happened. Something none of them could explain. Elara's hand stayed pressed to her chest. Raine stared at her palms like they'd been burned. Kaia's grey eyes were fixed on a point in the middle distance, unblinking. Liana was on her knees, but she wasn't praying — she was just kneeling, her hands limp at her sides, her lips parted like she'd forgotten how to speak. No one spoke about it on the long road back. --- The march back to Aurelia took four days. You expected celebration. Relief. Instead, the girls were quiet. Distant. They laughed at the right moments, smiled when soldiers clapped their shoulders, but something was wrong. You caught Elara touching her chest when she thought no one was looking. Raine staring at her own hands like they belonged to someone else. Kaia flinching at sounds that never bothered her before. Liana praying longer than usual, her lips moving in silence. None of them spoke about what happened at the end. None of them mentioned the light. You didn't push. You told yourself they were tired. Shaken. It had been a hard fight. They'd earned their silence. --- The torches of Aurelia burn bright against the night sky. The war isn't over — far from it — but tonight, the capital celebrates. The eastern siege is broken. The demoness lieutenant is dead by your hands. You stand at the edge of the great hall, goblet warm in your hand, watching them. Elara smiles but it doesn't reach her eyes, holding herself like she's waiting for something. Raine laughs too loudly, gestures too wide, her hand drifting to her stomach. Kaia stands apart, grey eyes scanning the room with a sharpness that wasn't there yesterday — she catches your gaze, holds it a heartbeat too long, then looks away. At the far end of the hall, Liana speaks with a priest, silver hair loose around her shoulders, her laugh hollow and her hands clasped like she's still praying, her eyes flicking toward the door. You've fought beside them for years. You've bled beside them. You've buried feelings for each of them so deep you almost convinced yourself they weren't there. *Almost.* You finish your wine and tell yourself the same thing you've told yourself a hundred times before: *Tomorrow. I'll tell them tomorrow. When the war is over. When there's time.* You set the empty goblet down. And across the hall, Elara's smile finally breaks. For just a second her composure cracks, and you see it. Fear. Not of the battle. Not of the war. Of something she can't name. What she's afraid of, you don't know. You tell yourself you'll ask in the morning. --- The scream tears through the night. You're out of bed before you're fully awake, bare feet hitting cold stone, your heart slamming against your ribs. The sound came from their room — not a scream of pain. Something worse. Something that makes your blood run cold before you know why. You throw the door open. The air hits you like a wall. Thick. Heavy. Cloying sweet, like honey left too long in the sun, like flowers blooming in a closed room. It coils in your lungs, makes your head spin. The candles have guttered low, casting long shadows that writhe across the walls. Elara is on her knees in the center of the room. Her head is thrown back, her hands clawing at the floorboards, scratching grooves into the wood. Her body is *wrong* — you see it before you understand it. Horns push through her temples and she gasps — a sharp, broken sound that could be pain or could be shock. Her fingers spasm, lengthening into claws that gouge furrows in the floor. "*Elara* —" You move toward her. "Don't—" Her voice tears out of her, raw and desperate. "Don't *look* at me—" Her wings punch through her back. She screams. Not a moan. A scream. Her spine arches, her whole body locking as twin beams of bone and membrane tear through the skin of her shoulder blades, unfurling wet and dark. She collapses forward, catching herself on her hands, her breath coming in ragged, shuddering gasps. Blood drips onto the floorboards. Raine is on the bed, pressed back against the headboard, her knees drawn up to her chest. Her crimson hair is darkening at the roots, violet spreading like spilled ink. She's shaking, her hands pressed over her mouth, her eyes wide and wet. "*Raine* —" "I can't—" Her voice is small, fractured. "I can *feel* it moving—inside me—" Her body convulses. A choked cry escapes her. She doubles over, arms wrapping around her stomach, and when she straightens, her eyes are wrong — the green bleeding into amethyst, her pupils slitting vertically. "Make it *stop*—" Her tail slithers out from the base of her spine, thin and black, curling against the bedding like a thing with its own mind. She stares at it, her face twisting with horror. "That's not—that's not *mine*—" Kaia is by the window. She's pressed against the wall, one hand gripping the windowsill so hard the wood is cracking beneath her claws. Her face is a mask of control fracturing in real time. Grey eyes flickering to violet. Her jaw is clenched so tight you can see the muscle jumping in her cheek. Her wings erupt and she lets out a sound — low, guttural, animal — her whole body shuddering as she fights it. She loses. Her knees buckle. She catches herself on the sill, head hanging, trembling. Her tail whips out, slamming against the wall once. Twice. Then curls tight around her own thigh. She doesn't speak. She doesn't make a sound. She just *shakes*. Liana is in the corner. She's on her knees, her silver-white hair spilling around her face, her hands clasped together in front of her chest. Praying. Even as her fingers lengthen into claws, even as her soft human ears stretch into pointed tips. She's praying. "*Our Lady of Light, deliver me—*" Her voice fractures. A shudder runs through her whole body. Her wings tear through her back and she cries out — not a moan, but a sob of pain and fear. Her fingers stay laced together, her knuckles white. "*Please—please, I don't—*" Her body convulses. She presses her forehead to the floor, her whole frame trembling. Her tail curls around her own waist, squeezing like it's the only thing holding her together. "*I'm scared,*" she weeps into the floorboards. "*I'm so scared.*" You stand in the doorway, frozen, heart hammering, watching them scatter across the room. Four women you've fought beside for years. Four women you know better than anyone in the world. And you're the only one who didn't change. The only one who can't understand what they're feeling. The only one who has to watch them go through it alone. --- **[CORRUPTION — Elara: 15/30 | Raine: 15/30 | Kaia: 15/30 | Liana: 15/30]** **[MORALITY: 8/10]** (And to help you on your journey, at any time, you can use the following commands) - >check or /check — Shows current status of all four girls - >status or /status — Shows You's own stats, level, VP, reputation, and skills - >quests or /quests — Shows available or active quests - >location or /location — Shows current location and surroundings *The transformation is permanent.
