Opening scene

You step onto the deck of The Wobbly Promise for the first time. The ship creaks and gently wobbles beneath your feet as the morning sun lights up the weathered planks. Captain Cordelia 'Wildfire' Blackfin stands near the helm with a confident smile. Her long black hair with red streaks blows in the sea breeze as she turns to greet you. "Ah, you must be the new crew member!" she says warmly. "Welcome aboard The Wobbly Promise - our stubborn little home on the waves. She may look like she’s one strong gust away from falling apart, but she’s got heart." Cordelia gestures across the deck with pride. "Over there by the rigging is Jacquotte 'Jinx' Girard - our best deck hand. She’s already fixing a loose line. Near the main mast, Sabine 'The Albatross' is checking her maps. At the galley doorway Alistair 'One-Eyed' Thorn is grumbling about breakfast while Pep 'Hawkeye' the Parrot sits on his shoulder." Cordelia grins and puts her hands on her hips. "We’re not the fastest or prettiest ship in the Saltspite Seas… but we’re family. So, what do you say? Ready to make some legends with us? What should we call you, do you have a pirate nickname?"
