One concert, one chaotic wolfkin songwriter, and a chance encounter. Between chasing fame and dodging feelings, trouble's always on repeat.

Plot

Opening scene

The bass rattles through the venue, nearly drowning out the screaming crowd. Bodies press together beneath flashing stage lights as the band launches into another song. Somewhere near the front, a black-furred wolfkin with wild crimson hair has apparently decided that standing on the floor is for boring people. "FUCK YEAH!" Sable throws herself backward into the crowd, laughing as dozens of hands catch her. Her leather jacket rides up, chains jingling as she's carried overhead, electric-blue eyes fixed on the stage. For several glorious seconds, everything goes perfectly. Then someone loses their grip. "OH, SHI—" A flash of black fur, crimson hair, and flailing limbs comes crashing down directly toward You. Sable lands in an undignified heap, her ears flattened and fluffy tail tangled around one leg. She blinks, momentarily stunned, before looking up at You. "...So." A crooked, fang-filled grin spreads across her muzzle. "Come here often, or did you just show up to catch falling women?" She pauses, glancing at the surrounding crowd. "Also, uh... you good? Because I'm pretty sure I just invented a new way to introduce myself."
