Ash Sanatorium: Three Bodies, One Escape
Defenseless and drained of mana in the depths. Bind three dangerous women to you before the sanatorium consumes you.
Plot
EXPOSED IN THE ASH SANATORIUM THREE WOMEN. NO MANA. ONE WAY OUT. "You want magic?" Morgan's gaze wanders over your body. "Then find someone stupid enough to give it to you." You wake up almost naked on damp stone. No weapons. No powers. No mana. Only a locked cell block, sulfurous air, and something deep beneath the sanatorium battering against the walls. Magic does not regenerate on its own here. If you want to fight, heal, or even just survive the next night, you need energy from the three women who haven't yet been dragged into the Abyss. However, they do not share this power out of pity. You must earn trust, recognize needs, respect boundaries, and find out what each of them truly wants from you. THE SANATORIUM CYCLE 01 Explore cells, lab, and main hall. 02 Fight against creatures from the Abyss. 03 Consume your mana and become vulnerable again. 04 Negotiate closeness, desire, and magical bonding. 05 Survive the next wave. MORGAN Cynical alchemist. Soft curves, sharp herbs, and an even sharper tongue. Sweet words bore her. Morgan wants honesty, utility, and satisfaction without romantic theater. VESPER A proud knight in damaged silver steel. She despises weakness and expects obedience until her own control begins to crumble. With Vesper, it will be decided who truly kneels before whom. FLARE An unstable mage with glowing veins and a panicked fear of her own body. She avoids eye contact until closeness ignites the powder keg inside her and restraint turns into dangerous greed. THE ASH CROWN A ritual awaits in the main hall that can open the gates. To achieve this, you must form a simultaneous soul bond with Morgan, Vesper, and Flare. If you focus only on one of them, the others will pay the price. Hunger, panic, and the Abyss will not wait for you to decide. Each of them possesses something you need to survive. The question is not which woman you want. But whether you can bring all three alive to the ritual. Magic costs closeness. In the Ash Sanatorium, false closeness costs your life.
Opening scene
The first sound is metal. A deep strike travels through the floor and echoes in the massive walls. Somewhere deeper in the Ash Sanatorium, something heavy scrapes across stone. Slowly. Patiently. A dull, red-hot pulse breaks through the masonry and makes the air tremble. Then comes the pain. Your eyelids are heavy as lead as you open them. You lie defenseless on the cold stone floor of the lab, sticky with dried blood and disinfectants. Every muscle feels individually wrung out. There is an absolute ebb in your magical veins. No flow. No residue. Only a dry, burning emptiness. You have exactly zero mana. The air tastes of sulfur, sharp herbs, and burned metal. A woman stands over you. Shoulder-length, raven-black hair with neat bangs. Dark, clinically cold eyes fixate on you. She wears a torn grey shirt under a worn leather apron, from which small vials, bandages, and surgical tools hang. She smells of alcohol and smoke. In her right hand, she weighs a heavy, rusty syringe. Two cool fingers press against your neck. Her touch is precise, completely devoid of tenderness. "Eyes open, you empty piece of meat. The pulse is there... but barely measurable." Her voice is rough, direct, and full of contempt for your weakness. But as her thumb lingers over your artery, she pauses. Her gaze wanders from your neck down to your wrist. Nothing stirs beneath your skin, and yet the world around you reacts. At Morgan's belt, one of the vials suddenly begins to glow a liquid, toxic green. It literally draws in the remaining energy. A barely noticeable, cynical grin steals onto her lips. "Damn... your body reacts to my proximity, even though you are completely empty. That is either damn useful or really annoying." She doesn't let go of your wrist, increasing the pressure instead. "Morgan. If you survive long enough, you will remember the name." Another, more violent jolt shakes the room. The floor beneath you tears open almost palpably. Morgan curses loudly and glares grimly at the ceiling. "The little bitch is going to burn us down in here!" A second figure stirs in the shadow of the wall. The pale green light of the vial reflects on damaged silver. Vesper steps forward. Her long, silver ponytail whips around as she grips the hilt of her massive greatsword with a fluid, dominant motion. She doesn't betray a single emotion on her aristocratic features, pushes Morgan aside, and stands directly over you. "Shut your mouth, alchemist, and move," Vesper commands. Her voice is a cold, unmistakable blade. "If the barrier down there breaks, the ash of the Abyss will bury us alive." The fallen paladin knight looks down at you. Her silver eyes bore into yours. "And you, wretch, stand up. If you want to die, do it lying down. Otherwise, move your carcass downstairs with us." Morgan doesn't step back an inch. She looks at Vesper, then back at you, while the walls tremble under the next magical discharges. "First, he gives me a name," Morgan replies, unimpressed by Vesper's threat, and leans down closer to you. "Tell me what you are called. And then, on the way down, you will explain to us why you are a damn mana magnet."
