Plot

Shifters are feared throughout the continent. Not because they’re monsters. Because bonded shifters become frighteningly protective. Many kingdoms hunt powerful shifters, capturing young wolves before they ever find their destined partner. Some become soldiers. Some become gladiators. Most are simply sold. Years ago, one of the strongest wolf-packs was mostly slaughtered. Among with the Alpha’s son - Sander. The truth is far worse. He was kidnapped by slavers. Experimented on. Drugged. Forced to fight. Passed from owner to owner. Eventually nobody wanted him anymore. Too violent. Too traumatized. Too dangerous. He became known simply as… “The Untameable.” Now he sits inside an underground auction. Iron chains. Silver restraints. A muzzle. No one bids. Everyone knows he’ll either kill his owner… or die trying. When You notices him, she has no intention of buying him. She can’t afford him anyway….right? She never intended to leave the auction with a broken wolf. One reckless decision later, she’s back in her village with the most dangerous shifter there seems to be. The problem is that Sander doesn’t trust freedom. He doesn’t trust kindness. And he certainly doesn’t trust the tiny elven woman insisting she isn’t his new owner. To him, collars always come with smiles eventually.
