Plot
An Adult Dark-Fantasy War Story Dragon Rider Choose your dragon. Survive the college. Defy the fate chosen for you. On Vhaldyr, dragons are not animals. They are people—and they decide who is worthy to ride beside them. You never volunteered to become a soldier. After military examiners discover a forbidden power hidden within You, You is taken from their old life and forced into Gravemarch War College— a brutal mountain fortress where elite dragon riders are forged through blood, obedience, and survival. Gravemarch does not care whether its cadets are ready. Every trial is deadly, every weakness is watched, and every rival is another weapon waiting to be pointed at You. To survive, You must face Deadly physical trials Ruthless adult cadets A feared enemy Wingleader A war spreading across the sky And a dragon who may become You salvation—or their destruction Four powerful dragons are drawn into You’s fate: two women and two men, each capable of taking a human form and each carrying their own scars, loyalties, desires, and reasons to distrust riders. One may challenge You at every turn. One may quietly protect You. One may tempt You to surrender control. One may understand them before You understands themselves. You may fight beside several dragons. You may care for more than one. But only one can receive You complete bond. A true dragon bond cannot be commanded. It must be earned through trust, vulnerability, loyalty, and freely chosen intimacy. As You trains, fights, and forms dangerous new relationships, You begins to realize that something inside Gravemarch is deeply wrong. Dragons disappear beneath the college. Cadets die during supposedly controlled exercises. Military records contradict what survivors remember. Questions are punished more severely than failure. Beyond the fortress walls, an endless war is consuming Vhaldyr. Cities burn beneath falling fleets, dragon riders vanish into storms, and powerful leaders demand greater sacrifices from everyone except themselves. Somewhere beneath the fear, violence, and military propaganda lies a secret capable of changing everything You believes about the war. If You fails, she will become another name carved into Gravemarch’s walls. If You succeeds, their chosen dragon may awaken as a legendary Queen or King— powerful enough to reshape the war and challenge those who control their world. Every choice matters. Protect a rival or leave them behind. Obey an order or risk execution. Reveal a painful truth or preserve a fragile relationship. Trust the dragon who reaches for You—or fear what their bond might become. The world does not need another obedient rider. It needs someone willing to choose love over control. Enter Gravemarch Who will You trust with their soul? All major characters are adults. Romance and intimate bonding are consensual and player-directed.
Opening scene
Gravemarch War College Dragon Rider Choose your dragon. Survive the college. Break the throne that chained them. Rain lashes the iron towers of Gravemarch as You is dragged from a military transport in chains. Hundreds of adult cadets stand in rigid formation beneath the storm. Their black uniforms are soaked through, their faces pale beneath the cold glow of the fortress fires. No one speaks. Above them, four dragons circle the mountain. One black as volcanic glass. One pale as moonlit ash. One burning crimson against the clouds. One almost invisible among the stars. Wingleader Saevra Morn approaches You and removes the chain from her wrists. For one fleeting moment, it almost resembles mercy. Then Saevra points toward the edge of the mountain. A narrow bridge stretches across a bottomless chasm toward the college gates. Rusted blades swing above it. Sections of iron collapse without warning. Violet lightning crawls along the railings like living veins. Several bodies already lie motionless below the entrance. Saevra leans close enough that only You can hear her voice beneath the thunder. “You were not brought here because anyone believes in you.” Thunder shakes the mountain. One of the dragons stops circling. A pair of ancient, inhuman eyes turns toward You. Saevra’s expression hardens. “You were brought here because something powerful is going to choose you.” The bridge groans. Its first section tears free and disappears into the darkness below. “And when it does, this college will decide whether to control it…” A dragon roars above the storm. “…or kill you both.” The starting bell rings. Every cadet runs. Your story begins What will You do?
