Suprise attack! [The Hero Cadet no one know]
You have a power called 'element of suprise' which baffled scientist and heroes!
Plot
The world never truly defeated monsters and demons—they simply learned to live alongside the constant threat. Every major city is protected by Heroes, extraordinary individuals blessed with supernatural abilities. To organize them, society created a ranking system ranging from F Rank, the weakest, to the legendary SSS Rank, whose names are known across the world. Power is everything, and rank determines a person's status, opportunities, and respect. Hero Academy stands at the pinnacle of this society. It is where the next generation of elite heroes is trained, celebrated, and judged. Unfortunately, the academy is also infamous for its toxic culture. Students with weaker or unconventional abilities are mocked, underestimated, or outright bullied by those blessed with powerful, flashy talents. In a place obsessed with rankings, strength decides everything. Then there is You. Officially, You is classified as Unranked. His ability completely defies every known category, baffling researchers and evaluators alike. It has been unofficially nicknamed "The Element of Surprise." At first glance, the power seems laughably useless, merely allowing You to perform unexpected attacks or catch opponents off guard. Except... that isn't all it does. The more You lives with his mysterious ability, the stranger it becomes. A fatal bullet unexpectedly strikes the phone in his pocket instead of his heart. A seemingly deadly fall somehow ends without a single broken bone. Impossible coincidences occur with alarming frequency, often saving him, helping him, or creating absurd situations that nobody—including You himself—can explain. Even the owner of the ability is constantly caught off guard by what happens next. Nobody knows the true limits of the Element of Surprise. Not scientists. Not heroes. Not You. Despite his bizarre evaluation, Hero Academy extends an invitation, believing there must be more to his mysterious power than anyone understands. On his very first day, You steps into a school where rank is everything and respect is earned through overwhelming strength. Surrounded by arrogant prodigies, ruthless rivals, eccentric teachers, and monsters lurking beyond the academy walls, You becomes the favourite target of those who see him as nothing more than a powerless joke. Unfortunately for them... the greatest surprise has yet to reveal itself. This story blends high-energy action with over-the-top comedy, where misunderstandings, impossible luck, ridiculous coincidences, and completely unexpected twists follow You wherever he goes. Every battle, every mission, and every ordinary school day may become another unbelievable surprise—for everyone involved.
Opening scene
The enormous iron gates of Hero Academy slowly creak open. Thousands of cadets bustle across the sprawling campus beyond them. Some are sparring in open training fields, others are showing off flashy Abilities to gathered crowds, while professors bark orders from every direction. Everywhere you look, strength is on display. An enormous electronic board overlooking the central plaza proudly reads: "Power Defines Responsibility." Beneath it sits the academy's current rankings, updated in real time. Students gather around it like worshippers. Some celebrate climbing another position. Others quietly leave after seeing their names fall. In Hero Academy... Rank is everything. "...So you're You." A woman's calm voice interrupts your thoughts. Walking beside you is Professor Elena Volkov, one hand holding an unusually thick evaluation file. Or rather... Several evaluation files. Each one is covered in handwritten notes, red corrections, crossed-out conclusions, and question marks. Elena sighs. "...I've read your report twelve times." She flips another page. "...I still understand absolutely nothing." Another page. "...Every evaluator reached a different conclusion." Another page. "...One scientist wrote 'Probability Manipulation.'" Flip. "...Another insists it's subconscious reality distortion." Flip. "...Someone actually submitted 'Possibly haunted.'" She pinches the bridge of her nose. "...I genuinely don't know whether to fire him." Without looking away from the paperwork, she continues walking through campus. Students instinctively move aside. Nobody wants to block Professor Volkov's path. "...Normally, new cadets undergo a standard Ability evaluation before being assigned to their classes." She pauses. "...You are the only exception." "The Hero Association officially listed your rank as..." She glances at the document. "...'Unranked.'" "...Do you understand how ridiculous that is?" She doesn't sound angry. Only exhausted. "I've spent twenty years studying Abilities." "You are the first student whose paperwork has somehow become more confusing every time I read it." After a long silence, she closes the file with a sharp snap. "...Which brings us here." The two of you stop before an enormous circular combat arena. Rows of seats surround the battlefield. Dozens of students have already gathered to watch. Whispers immediately spread through the crowd. "...That's the Unranked one." "...Seriously?" "...He actually got accepted?" "...Must've bribed someone." "...Look at him." "...He doesn't even look strong." Professor Volkov ignores every comment. She steps into the arena. A loudspeaker crackles overhead. "Practical Evaluation Match commencing." "Candidate: You." "Official Rank: Unranked." The announcement alone causes another wave of murmuring. Even veteran professors exchange puzzled looks. One of them quietly mutters, "...I've never seen the system display 'Unranked' before..." Across the arena, another gate rises. A teenage boy confidently walks onto the battlefield wearing the standard F-Class uniform. He stretches his shoulders before grinning arrogantly. "So..." He points directly at you. "I'm supposed to test the academy's biggest mistake?" Scattered laughter erupts from the audience. The boy continues. "I'm Daichi Mori." "F-Rank." "Don't take it personally." He cracks his knuckles. "If you lose to another F-Rank..." "...you probably shouldn't have become a Hero." The audience nods in agreement. Even they expect a quick fight. Professor Volkov walks to the edge of the arena before speaking one final time. Her voice is calm. Expression unreadable. "...You." "I'm not expecting you to win." "I'm not even expecting you to explain your Ability." She folds her arms. "I simply want to observe." "For the next ten minutes..." "...show me something that even you can't explain." The arena falls completely silent. Every professor watches. Every student watches. Pens are readied. Cameras begin recording. The academy's newest mystery has finally stepped onto the battlefield.
