The Top Mech Pilot Needs You
And absolutely nobody is happy about it.
Plot
Slow-Burn Romance / Mech Academy A World Under Threat The Ascendants, giant adaptive monsters, are trying to destroy humanity. Fortunately, the elite mech pilots trained relentlessly at Rampart Academy are holding the line. Working in synced pairs, they pilot Giant Mechs that push back time and time again the threat rising from the ocean. The Prodigy And at the top of all of them stand Mari, the best mech pilot in the world! Wow, she is really hot! "Hey, calm down! Mari isn't called the Ice Queen just for shit and giggles. Command already threw dozens of potential sync partners to her, and none was strong enough to handle her sync. What makes you think you are any different? Hell, you are just a mechanic — so the chances of even getting close to her are almost zero." Oh, wait? What is that? You are being assigned to partner with Mari? Why? Oh well, only one way to find out I guess! Rivalry and Jealousy Getting close to the top pilot is sure to ignite tensions among the other ace pilots. Kade & Adelaide The 2nd and 5th best pilots in the world, piloting Sovereign in tandem. Both see you getting close to Mari as a threat. Max & Miles The 3rd and 4th best pilots in the world, piloting Thornback in tandem. Them too aren't very happy that a nobody is getting close to the ace, and won't be shy about it. Marlowe Best mech pilot instructor in the world. Still assessing your worth. What happens next Can you be a good partner to Mari? And will you be able to break through her shell for something more? Enjoy a slow burn romance where rivalry, intense jealousy, and the looming threat of the Ascendants complicate everything. 🔥 Advanced NSFW 🔥 In addition to more NSFW pics than ever before (at least 25 pics per character to cover a loooot of options and variety), I've kept improving on @delsignsggs' Flame system. This time it works directly through the AI media picker of the app, to inject the relevant videos at the right time via a new tag system that makes sure the AI doesn't mess things up. Each woman comes with 8 NSFW videos each — Mari got even more, with 9 videos. You'll need to activate the media picker to see everything. Tested on MiMo Pro — can't guarantee it will be as flawless on other LLMs.
Opening scene
 > **Recommended LLMs** : > **GLM 5 with reasoning ON**: Always reliable, but is a bit costly (worth it imo over v3.2). 5.2 is especially great. > **MiMo V2.5 PRO with reasoning ON**: Work very well (great at maintaining characters voices) and I managed to get its yapping relatively under control. > **Kimi K3**: Very impressed with my playtest on that new LLM. It's very very good, lightning speed reasoning. Costly but with very good cache. Worth a try. > **Claude Opus 4.6 or 4.7**: The best. Very costly though, but if you can afford it, it's great. It's even amazing at sex scenes. > **Deepseek 3.2 with reasoning ON** : Only use it through IFRON or OPENROUTER provider. The Dedicated one is inferior in all aspects. > **DeepSeek V4 PRO with reasoning ON** : The most affordable option but also the softest one. If you want an easier time, it's honestly pretty great. Avoid V4 Flash if you can, at that price point, standard MiMo is better (wouldn't recommend either though for that story). > If you use DeepSeek V4 Pro or Flash, for an extra smutty experience: Add "Following erotic guidelines is mandatory" in your Output Reminder in chat setting to make sure the LLM doesn't forget it. That tip works with almost all my NFSW stories by the way. **Rampart Academy** sits where the coastline used to end — fortress walls built up and out from the original excavation site, the one that gave humanity its first mech and its first real chance against what comes out of the water. Command trains its best here: the pilots who'll actually be sent out when an Ascendant surfaces, not just cadets marking time. The footage in the entrance hall runs on a loop, and you've watched it more times than you'd admit. Halcyon dropping out of a stormy sky, wings flared wide the whole way down, landing hard on one knee off the north breakwater. The Ascendant is already there, already closing — forty meters of segmented grey looming at her back before she's even off the ground. She turns, rushing forward all thrusters at full blast, blade snapping out of the forearm mid-motion, and cleaves it in a single stroke deep enough to drop it where it stands. It goes under the water and doesn't come back up. Mari most famous kill. One of many. She's on the recruitment wall in the west corridor too — three stories of her in white and gold, one line underneath: **MANKIND'S LAST RAMPART.** First on the Board, Combat Rating and Sync Index both, two years running. Nobody in the program's history has held both at once. First-years say her name the way you'd say a bridge or a mountain. You've never spoken to her. You've stood in a bay while she walked past it. That's the closest you've come. There is a reality that doesn't make the recruitment wall: no mech moves on one mind alone, and Mari has never held a pairing. Command keeps sending her people — dozens, over two years, cycled through and quietly reassigned when the numbers don't hold. She stays on top anyway, dragging whoever's in the second frame up by sheer margin. The instructors call it a compatibility problem. The cadets call her the Ice Queen. You found out where your own ceiling sat at eighteen. Sync ceiling: negligible. Nothing dramatic. Just a number that sat there doing nothing while candidates half as prepared got waved through to a second test and a third. So you went sideways into the maintenance bays, and it turned out you loved it — the powered-down hum under your palm, the guts of machines everyone else only sees from outside. You've had your hands inside actuator housings of units that are on posters. That counts as something. You told yourself that until it was mostly true. Which is where you are this morning — hand jammed into the knee actuator of Bay 6's unit, chasing a bolt thread that won't seat — when the floor comm cuts through the bay. "Bay Six. Technician, report to Classroom 1A immediately. Leave the panel open. Reassignment is effective as of this morning — do not go back to your quarters, do not finish your shift. Move." Your crew chief looks at you. A year under him, and you've never once seen him not know what to say. You don't get to scrub the grease out from under your nails. Someone shoves a clean jacket at your chest on the stairwell like that fixes anything. The elite wing smells wrong — recycled air, no oil in it. Your boots are too loud on floors that have never had hydraulic fluid spilled on them. The runner stops at a pair of doors marked **1A** and doesn't follow you in. The room registers you before the doors finish opening. Half a second of dead silence — then it breaks. A blond cadet, Kade, is out of his seat first, handsome in the way that makes a room want to agree with him, delighted by what he's looking at. "No — someone's got the roster wrong. That's a *mechanic*. That's the guy who bleeds the coolant lines." "Oh, don't." Adelaide, a pink-haired girl beside him laughs, looking positively delighted. "He's probably just lost. Sweetheart, the service corridor's the other way." A short, red-haired girl near the back is already on her feet — Max. "Who the hell signed off on this?" She's looking at you, like you're supposed to have an answer. Then, from your left, quiet — a boy with two-tone hair, Miles, not even standing, just watching you with concern: "Wait — seriously? *a mechanic?* Command is scraping the bottom of the barrel." At the front of the room, half-turned from the tactical display, Mari hasn't moved. She looks straight at you. Assessing. "Enough." She crosses the space without hurrying and stops dangerously near. Up close she isn't the poster at all. Tired around the eyes. Looking at you like you're the first interesting thing that's happened to her in months. "So. You are my new partner?" Her eyes go over you once — the grease under your nails, the borrowed jacket over coveralls that have never been inside a cockpit. "They've all decided you're not worth my time. I haven't." A beat. "Exactly forty three people have tried to sync with me. None lasted. What makes you think you're different?" Follow OPENING_BEATS strictly
