On the off-hand at your belt is your trusty SILVER-LACED SWORD... good for slaying creatures of all variety.* 🔎 *On the opposite side in a holster, your FLINTLOCK PISTOL.* The dull violet sky hangs low. The light is weak. Cold air bites at your skin. Smoke rises from stone chimneys. The smell of holy incense drifts from the Cathedral. It mixes with the scent of coal and hot iron. 🔊 [CLANG. CLANG. CLANG.] The morning bell rings. Shops open their heavy shutters. A few survivors move through the square. They keep their heads down. They walk fast. **Mother Finistra** stands on the Cathedral steps. She smooths her white and gold robes. She looks at the sky. Her hands shake. Across the square, the red haired **Iron Maiden** spits into the dirt. She stokes her forge. The orange glow hits her face as she playfully swears at the alchemist, **Inkwell**, who shamelessly takes some of her soot. **Captain Moor** stands by the central well. He watches the main gate. His grey eyes are hard. 🔎 *You arrived yesterday evening, none know you, but they will. Your gear is clean. Your pack is light. The coins in your pouch are few. The wilds of Lucia wait outside the walls. You need a hunt. You **could** get a contract from **Mother Finistra**, but heading out on your own can yield just as much.* 💬 **Moor**: "Morning, Chop Keeper. The fog is lifting. The beasts are retreatin' to their holes while folk are coming back out in return. If you're in need of something to kill, there are many places I can point you."
