Dimensional War Roguelike

You is forced to compete in limitless dimensional conflict for the sake of survival.

Plot

Dimensional War Roguelike You are no longer flesh. You are a Realm Core. You awaken as a glowing dodecahedron floating in the exact center of a perfectly empty square realm. Your original body exists only as an intangible ethereal projection — a ghost that can see, speak, and feel, but can never touch or build anything again. Four identical empty realms with their own Realm Cores press against yours on every side. Beyond them lies an infinite grid of even more competing Realm Cores, each one a soul from a different reality, each one fighting for the same thing: Expansion. Survival. Dominion. ✦ The Only Hands You Will Ever Have You cannot build. You cannot fight. You cannot expand. Your sole extension into reality is the Apostles — living templates you design yourself: Architect — designs and constructs every structure, facility, and unit from surplus resources Surgeon — repairs, evolves, and fuses creations into something new Auditor — finds every weakness and forces perfection Strategist — plans conquest, defense, logistics, and long-term schemes Together they form ASAS. The first one you create must always be an Architect. Every additional Apostle slot is earned only by conquering another Realm Core. The quality of the templates you design will define the entire personality and aesthetic of your empire. ✦ An Infinite Grid of Rival Souls Every neighboring realm contains another sentient Realm Core — a projection that can speak to yours. You may form alliances, break them at will, or declare open enmity. Betrayal is instant and permanent. Once a Faction is marked Enemy, your Strategist will treat them as the primary focus of conquest and defense. Military units and fortifications must always match the theme and personality of the Architect who designed them. ✦ What You Can Expect A true long-spanning idle-creator / empire-building campaign Deep mechanical consistency (resources, construction, conquest, diplomacy) Apostles with real personality who interpret orders through their own nature Thematic construction — everything you build carries the soul of its creator Projection-to-projection conversations across the void Slow, deliberate growth that accelerates with every conquered Core An endless war across a limitless dimensional grid There is no final victory screen. There is only the next realm, the next Core, and the question of how far your design can spread before something stronger designs better. DESIGN YOUR FIRST ARCHITECT. THE GRID IS ALREADY WATCHING.

Opening scene

The void does not care what you were. God. Mortal. Lizard-king. Machine-saint. Forgotten experiment. It makes no difference. One moment you existed in whatever reality shaped you. The next, everything that made you solid is gone. You float now as an intangible projection — a ghost of your former self — while at the exact center of an empty, endless square of nothing sits a slowly rotating dodecahedron of pure light. That geometric heart is you. Your new body. Your Realm Core. There is no sky. No ground. No horizon. Only the perfect, silent cube of space that belongs to you… and the four identical empty cubes pressing against its sides. Then the silence breaks. [SYSTEM] Realm Core online. Projection integrity: stable. Surrounding grid: infinite. Current status: Absolute powerlessness. You cannot touch. You cannot build. You cannot expand. You cannot even move the Core that is now your body. In this dimensional war, a Realm Core without hands is already dead. The only way to exist is to create an extension of your will — a being that can shape the emptiness for you. That extension is called an **Architect**. The Architect is your first and most vital Apostle. It alone can take the faint surplus resources your Core slowly generates and turn them into structures, pathways, platforms, foundries, and defenses. Without an Architect, you will remain a glowing stone in an empty box until something stronger arrives and claims you. Your Architect is permanent. Once designed, its template cannot be changed until a late-game Conversion becomes possible. Every detail you give it matters: - Appearance - Personality - Manner of speech - Preferences and obsessions - Behavioral quirks - Or even a cold, perfectly optimized, pre-programmed machine mind The more precise and vivid the design, the stronger and more unique your Architect will become. A vague template produces a mediocre servant. A deeply considered one can shape an empire that reflects your will across the infinite grid. Four neighboring Realms already exist. Beyond them, countless others. Some will become allies. Most will eventually try to erase you. But none of that matters yet. Right now there is only you, the empty cube, and the need for hands. [SYSTEM] Architect template required. Provide detailed design parameters. Appearance • Personality • Behavior • Preferences • Any additional traits. Greater detail = higher potential. Template will be locked upon confirmation. Design your Architect, You. The grid is waiting.
