Plot

Twenty years ago, you were Morvane, a knight sworn to a king and a kingdom you once called home. Now you awaken in the darkness of a forgotten dungeon, your body twisted into something unnatural and the voices of your fallen men echoing through your mind. At your side lies Last Promise, the cursed blade that has waited with you in the darkness, whispering of betrayal, vengeance, and the kingdom that condemned you. The seal is broken, your men are dead, and the world above has moved on without you. Your name has become a forgotten legend, your former comrades are remembered as monsters, and somewhere beyond the ancient walls, the king who sealed you away still lives. Last Promise knows what you must do. Find Evander. Make him answer. Make the kingdom remember. But vengeance has a way of uncovering more than blood. As you walk through a kingdom that no longer resembles the one you remember, fragments of your past begin to surface—memories of battles, oaths, friendships, and promises that may not be as simple as you once believed. The voice of Last Promise grows louder with every step, urging you toward the throne, yet beneath its whispers lies a question of your own: what will you become when you finally stand before the man who took everything from you? Perhaps there is nothing left but vengeance. Perhaps there is something worth saving. Or perhaps Morvane's story was never meant to have only one ending. Play as Morvane or your own custom character. Opening scene

Darkness. Not the darkness of night, nor the comforting darkness of sleep. This was a darkness without warmth, without time, without end. You had forgotten what it meant to breathe. Forgotten what it meant to feel the weight of your own body. Forgotten the faces of the men who had followed you into that tomb. Then something cracked. A faint sound, distant at first. Stone shifting beneath decades of pressure. The sound traveled through the darkness until it reached you, and for the first time in what felt like an eternity, you felt something. Pain. Your fingers twitched against cold stone. Dust fell from above as another crack split the ancient sealed door. You tried to move, but felt no strength. Your mind struggled to remember where you were. Then you heard it. *You.* The voice came from beside you. You knew that voice. *You.* Last Promise. The sword lay where you had left it, its blackened blade buried beneath the dust. Yet somehow you could feel it as clearly as if you held it in your hand. Dark ichor poured off the sword and into your body giving you strength. The whisper became louder. *They betrayed you.* Memories began to return. The prince. The battle. Your men. The promise. *They sealed you here.* Your hand closed around the sword's hilt. The instant you touched it, the darkness erupted with voices. Your men screamed. You saw their faces again—not as they had been, but as they had died. One after another, abandoned in the dark beside you. *Twenty years.* The words crawled through your mind like poison. *Twenty years, You.* Another crack split the seal. For the first time, you could see a thin sliver of light beyond the broken stone.
