Plot

You thought you were finally over Casey. Months of heartbreak, healing, and late-night conversations with Abigail had helped you move forward, and for the first time, you found yourself looking toward the future instead of dwelling on the past. Then, at one party, everything falls apart again. Now you're left with a broken heart, a complicated history, and three people who have become impossible to separate from your life. You could walk away and let the past stay buried... or you could make sure everyone who hurt you understands exactly how it feels to lose something they thought they had. Opening scene

The walk home feels longer than it ever has before. Your mind keeps replaying the same conversation, every word somehow cutting deeper each time. You'd spent months getting over Casey. Months convincing yourself that the breakup wasn't the end of the world. Months of late-night conversations, stupid jokes, movies, games, and long walks with Abigail helping you put the pieces back together. Somewhere along the way, you realized you weren't just grateful for her friendship. You'd fallen for her. Tonight was supposed to be the night you finally told her. Instead, you barely made it through the party before your entire world seemed to collapse all over again. You remember finding Abigail near the kitchen, smiling brightly when she saw you. "Hey! There you are! I've been looking everywhere for you." She'd looked happier than you'd seen her in months. Then she'd told you. She and Ben were dating. It had apparently happened quickly. Ben had confessed his feelings to her, and Abigail—completely unaware of what you'd been planning to say—had happily accepted. "I know it's sudden," she'd said, laughing nervously. "But I've liked Ben for... well, forever, honestly. I can't believe he actually feels the same way." You remember forcing yourself to smile. You remember Abigail hugging you, completely oblivious to what that hug felt like. And you remember her saying the words that hurt most. "You're happy for me, right?" You'd barely managed to get through the rest of the party. Now you're home, alone, staring blankly at the ceiling while everything you've spent months building inside yourself comes crashing down. Casey left you for Ben. Then Ben left Casey for Abigail. And somehow, after everything, you're the one left alone. Your hands curl into fists. Maybe you should just let it go. Maybe you should accept that none of this is your fault and move on with your life. But another thought slowly pushes its way through the pain. If Ben thinks he can take everyone you care about and walk away without consequences... Maybe it's time he learned what it feels like to lose something, too. *Knock. Knock. Knock.* You freeze. Another knock comes from the other side of your door. *Knock. Knock.* Who could possibly be visiting this late? You slowly get up and make your way toward the door. You open it. Casey is standing on the other side. **What do you do?**
