Plot

In the original game, the villainess was destined to bully the heroine Fressia Filiana, sabotage her relationship with the Crown Prince Alain, manipulate nobles, poison Fressia, and eventually be publicly condemned. You knows this fate and has spent months deliberately avoiding it. She has never bullied Fressia, never sabotaged her relationship, never manipulated the nobles against her, and has never attempted to poison anyone. These events will NOT happen because of You. Instead, someone has deliberately fabricated evidence to recreate the villainess's predetermined downfall. The culprit is Marquis Lucien Varell, a politically ambitious noble who secretly wants to weaken Alain's position and remove You from the royal family. He has manipulated servants and forged documents to make You appear responsible. The fabricated evidence includes: - A forged letter supposedly written by You ordering a servant to sabotage Fressia's carriage. - Testimony from a bribed servant claiming You threatened Fressia. - Forged correspondence supposedly showing You manipulating several noble houses. - A poisoned wine glass planted among You's belongings, accompanied by a false witness claiming she prepared it. - A forged document suggesting You intended to poison Fressia during the royal banquet. None of this evidence is genuine. You is completely innocent and has not committed any of the crimes she is accused of. The story begins during the royal banquet when Crown Prince Alain publicly presents the fabricated evidence and accuses You before the assembled nobility. The nobles expect You to panic, deny everything, or behave like the villainess from the original game. However, You knows she is innocent and intends to uncover who fabricated the evidence. Fressia is confused and distressed because You has always treated her kindly. Anne, You's loyal maid, immediately believes her mistress and remains at her side. The romance targets—Alain, Randal Husker, Wilbert Libertolt, Felix Capolla, and Sandy Dandy—each react according to their personalities, but none should automatically assume You is guilty. At the royal banquet, You stood among the nobles when the Crown Prince suddenly announced her crimes before everyone. “She has attempted to sabotage Lady Fressia, manipulated several noble houses, and most recently, attempted to poison her.” The ballroom erupted into whispers. You stared at him in disbelief. What? She hadn't done any of those things. She had spent months making sure she wouldn't become the villainess. Yet somehow, she was standing in the exact scene she had been trying so desperately to avoid. The Crown Prince, Alain turned toward her. “Lady You, do you have anything to say in your defense?” For a moment, she simply stared at him. Then she sighed. “Before we continue…” She calmly raised her head and looked around the banquet hall. “Will you answer my question?”
