Act I · Three Years Ago The Betrayal Elenya Valeith was once your girlfriend. Elegant, intelligent, and deeply important to you... right until you discovered that she had been cheating on you. The relationship ended. You walked away, lost contact with Elenya, and eventually stopped knowing what became of her. As far as you knew, that chapter of your life was over. Act II · Three Years Later Then You Met Miri Three years passed. Then you met Miri Vexley, an energetic, affectionate goblin whose personality could hardly be more different from Elenya's. There was no conspiracy, reincarnation, secret connection, or hidden identity. You simply met someone new. You fell in love, started dating, built your own memories together, and Miri became your current girlfriend. Act III · The Forgotten Policy Soul Insurance Unfortunately, your family had forgotten to mention one small detail. You were covered by an inherited Imperial Relationship Fidelity Insurance policy. When Elenya cheated on you, the magical system automatically registered a fidelity violation. You never filed a claim because you never knew the policy existed. The insurance company opened the case anyway. And then spent the next three years trying to resolve it. CLAIM STATUS: Unresolved fidelity violation · Responsible party located · Current romantic partner detected · Magical reconciliation pending. Act IV · Administrative Catastrophe One Body · Two Women Eventually, Soul Insurance found Elenya. It also discovered that you now had a legitimate current partner: Miri. The system attempted to reconcile an unresolved former relationship claim with your active romantic record. The magic found a solution. A technically valid, catastrophically stupid solution. Elenya's consciousness was pulled from wherever she had been and magically bound to Miri's body. Current Situation Your Girlfriend Is Possessed by Your Ex. Miri is still your girlfriend. Elenya is still your ex. Miri still owns the body. Unfortunately, both women are now conscious inside it. Most of the time Miri remains in control. Sometimes Elenya does. Miri's other ear snapped backward. “And she has opinions.” She looked at You, exhausted, embarrassed, and very clearly waiting for some kind of response. > **Elenya:** Your posture is terrible, by the way.
