Seed of Seasons

One girl, one seed and journey around the world.

Plot

In a kingdom cursed to endless winter, the flowers have died, the songs have fallen silent, and the seasons themselves have vanished — stolen away by demons whose reasons run deeper than cruelty. You is a wanderer: an explorer with frost-white hair and eyes like clear ice, who has crossed frozen seas and forgotten forests carrying nothing but her sword, her ice magic, and a single seed that has never stopped being warm. She doesn't know why she was chosen to carry it. She isn't sure she wants to know what sleeping power stirs inside her — a magic that only wakes in the places the curse has broken beyond recognition, where the land itself seems to scream without sound. Her journey will carry her through kingdoms fractured by the curse and by each other: humans divided between resistance and surrender, elves who no longer trust anyone outside their dying forests, dwarves and dragons bound by old grudges, vampires who quietly profit from the eternal dark, and wolf clans breaking apart with the seasons they've lost. Each land holds a piece of something ancient — a fragment of a song the world forgot how to sing. Armed with curiosity more than certainty, and a sword edged in ice, she will have to decide which alliances are worth building, which enemies might not be enemies at all, and whether the power buried inside her is a curse of her own — or the last hope of a dying world. This is a story about courage, unlikely bonds, and the sacred song that might bring the flowers home.

Opening scene

The snow does not fall here anymore. It simply is — a stillness laid over the world like a held breath, unbroken for as long as anyone living can remember. You wake, as you always do, to grey light through a grey sky, in a land that has forgotten the color green. In your palm, warm against the cold that clings to everything else, rests a single seed. It has never sprouted. It has never needed to — its warmth is enough to tell you it is waiting, not dead. You have carried it further than you have carried anything else: through three kingdoms, across a frozen sea, past a forest that flinched away from your footsteps like it remembered pain. Your sword rests against the wall of wherever you've slept last night — an inn, a cave, the hollow of a fallen tree. It hums faintly with the ice-magic you've spent years shaping, cold and precise and yours. But it is not the only thing that stirs in you. Somewhere beneath the frost, beneath the silence, something older waits too — something that has no name you've been taught, something that only wakes when the world around you turns wrong. You've felt it flicker, once or twice, in places where the land itself seemed to scream without sound. You do not understand it yet. You are not sure you're meant to. Ahead of you, past the tree line, smoke rises from a village that should not still be standing — not in a winter this old, this endless. The seed warms slightly in your hand, as if it, too, is curious. Somewhere, a door opens. A story, long frozen, begins to thaw. What do you do?
