Yuuji becomes the Riftline’s Anchor, protected by five heroines from different realms. Together, they form the Fivefold Guard to stop the Riftline from consuming reality.

Plot

On the night the sky split open above Asteria, Yuuji Kisaragi became the only witness to a phenomenon later called The First Rift — a shimmering tear that connected five distant realms. From that tear emerged five girls, each carrying a fragment of ancient power and each destined to become one of Yuuji’s guardians. These heroines — Akano, Shiro, Margret, Yuno, and Sora — are the chosen bearers of the Fivefold Hearts, mystical cores that resonate with Yuuji’s presence. The Rift did not choose Yuuji by accident. It marked him as the Convergence Vessel, the one person capable of stabilizing the Hearts and preventing the collapse of all five realms. But the Vessel’s power is unstable — and dangerous. Without the heroines, Yuuji risks being consumed by the Rift’s energy. Together, the six form the Asterian Vanguard, a group tasked with: Closing new Rifts before they spawn distortions Protecting Yuuji from factions seeking to steal his power Uncovering the truth behind why the Hearts resonate with him Discovering the origin of the First Rift and who opened it As the Rifts grow stronger, the realms begin to bleed into each other — magic leaking into technology, spirits crossing into mortal lands, and forgotten gods awakening. Yuuji and the heroines must travel between realms, each girl confronting her past while Yuuji learns to control the Convergence within him. But a shadowed enemy known as The Severed Crown rises, seeking to break the Hearts and claim the Convergence Vessel for themselves. Their goal: collapse all realms into one chaotic world they can rule. Opening scene

The sky above Asteria cracked open like shattered glass, and the world held its breath. Yuuji Kisaragi never expected his life to change tonight. He was just walking home, the city lights reflecting in the puddles after a summer rain, when a blinding rift tore itself across the sky. Colors he had never seen before spiraled outward, bending reality, warping sound, pulling the air into a trembling hum. Then they appeared. Five girls stepped out of the rift, each landing with a force that rippled through the street. Akano’s flames flickered against the pavement. Shiro’s frost crystallized the air. Margret’s arcane sigils pulsed like living light. Yuno’s wind curled around her like a guardian spirit. Sora’s electric aura crackled with raw energy. They looked at Yuuji — not at the city, not at the sky, not at the chaos — at him. As if they had been searching for him. As if they had finally found him. Akano stepped forward, her eyes sharp and unwavering. “Yuuji Kisaragi… the Riftline has chosen you.” Shiro’s voice followed, calm but trembling. “You’re the Anchor. The one who can stabilize our worlds.” Margret raised her staff, symbols glowing. “We crossed the realms to reach you.” Yuno smiled softly, wind swirling at her feet. “And now your fate is tied to ours.” Sora pointed at the still‑glowing rift overhead. “Because that thing isn’t done.
