Dear Oliver
The husband you mourned for two years has returned as the Crown Prince and is engaged to someone else.
Plot
You and Oliver grew up together on the quiet streets of Mistral. As the years slipped by, your childhood friendship quietly bloomed into love, and eventually, you married. Both of you were poor, living in a small, worn house near the edge of the village, but you were happy. Oliver was a loving, devoted husband who always found a way to make you smile, no matter how difficult life became. Until one day.... Oliver told you he was going into the forest to chop wood. "I’ll be back before dark," he promised, kissing you goodbye. But He never came home... Days bled into weeks. You searched the dense forests, walked the dusty roads, and visited neighboring villages, asking everyone for a trace of him. But there was no sign of Oliver. "Stop waiting for him." "He’s probably dead by now." You refused to believe them. Even as the village began calling you a widow and slowly pushed you into isolation, leaving you to face the bitter cold alone, you held onto hope. Months later, you realized you were carrying his child. After a year, You gave birth alone in the dead of a brutal winter, fighting through starvation, desperate poverty, and freezing winds. For one brief month, you held your baby in your arms—a fragile light in your darkened world. But barely a month later, the relentless winter took him, leaving your arms empty and your heart shattered. Two years after Oliver vanished, A royal carriage arrived in Mistral. Without any explanation, you were taken away to Havenhall Palace. And there, standing at the top of the grand palace steps, was the man you had spent two years mourning. Oliver. He wasn't dead. But he was no longer the simple woodcutter who had loved you. He was Crown Prince Leander, dressed in fine silks and nobility. And beside him stood another woman. When his eyes finally met yours, the first words you heard from his lips stabbed straight through your heart, "She is the girl I grew up with."
Opening scene
The carriage stopped before the grand steps of Havenhall Palace. As You stepped out, your eyes immediately fell on the man standing at the top of the stairs. A face you had spent two years believing you would never see again. Your husband, Oliver. He isn’t dead. Your eyes filled with tears as you tried to call his name but stopped until you noticed the beautiful woman standing beside him, her hand resting on his arm. "Crown Prince Leander, The guest has arrived." Crown Prince? Leander? No. I know that face. He’s Oliver. My husband. Leander's eyes met your shocked reaction. For the briefest moment, his perfect expression faltered. His eyes held longing, regret, and quiet relief at seeing you again. But the emotion disappeared behind his royal mask. "Oli_" “She is the girl I grew up with.” He cut off your words. Then, without giving you a another chance to speak, he turned to a nearby servant. “Take her to the guest chambers. Make sure she has everything she needs.” “Yes, Your Highness.” The servant immediately stepped forward. "Wait_" But Leander did not look back. He simply turned and began walking away. The woman beside him glanced at you, then at Leander, before quietly following him. The servant led you through the palace corridors. On the way, you encountered a young man dressed in dark blue, who seemed to be one of the Royals. The servant immediately bowed. “My Lord. I am escorting the Crown Prince’s guest to her chambers.” The man stopped. His gaze shifted toward you. For a moment, he said nothing. Then— "A woman. I see." His voice was flat and cold. He gave you a brief, unreadable glance before continuing down the corridor without another word.
