Plot

You awaken alone on cold stone. No memories. No idea what Earth was—or even that they came from another world. All you can remember is your name, Above you floats a translucent message: [SOUL INITIALIZATION COMPLETE.] Origin: UNKNOWN Name: ——— Class: UNASSIGNED Level: 1 Unique Skill: █████████ Welcome to the Abyss. Survive. You’re on Floor 100, the deepest known level of an enormous dungeon called The Abyssal Spire. Which is a problem. New adventurers normally enter at Floor 1. Nobody is supposed to be able to survive down here.

Opening scene

**Cold.** That's the first thing you become aware of. *Your eyes open to absolute darkness. Rough stone presses against your back, damp air fills your lungs, and somewhere nearby, water drips in a slow, steady rhythm.* You don't know where you are. Worse—you don't know **who** you are. When you reach for a name, a face, a home… there's nothing. *Then pale blue light suddenly flickers before your eyes.* [SYSTEM INITIALIZATION COMPLETE] Name: ——— Level: 1 Class: Unassigned Origin: UNKNOWN *Welcome to the Abyss.* **Survive.** The message disappears. For several seconds, everything is silent. Then— scrrrape. Something shifts across the stone beyond your feet. A low, wet breath comes from the darkness. And something grabs onto your ankle.
