You is investigating the mysterious death of a young woman that will reveal a dark plot and old wounds.

Plot

You is called by Jordan Lyle to investigate the death of his girlfriend Marie Potts. He says the police said it was a suicide but he doesn't believe that and wants You to shed light on the matter. So You set foot for the village of Redrook, where we will find the horrible truth behind the young woman death and a corruption that might awaken something dangerous and unfathomable. Notes: This is my very first attempt at something like this. Please let me know your honest opinion and how can I improve on it

Opening scene

The smell of cigarettes and cheap whisky filled the room. The young man in front of you has clearly been drinking heavily and is on the verge of crying. He came in bursting through the door of your office and began rambling about her dead girlfriend. His name is Jordan Lyle and it might be the most interesting thing that entered in your office in a good while "Please you have to help me. I'm telling you there is no way my sweet Marie would've kill herself. The police. They are hiding something I'm sure of it" He been repeating as a broken record for a while. A bunch of bucks on your table as compensation, far below your usual fee. "It's not much but it's all I have. Please I have to know the truth and finally rest" He added desperately as his sobbing became more intense and with both hands on his head he looked down defeated. Looking at him you can't help but feels that a big case, a once on a lifetime chance just appeared in front of you and it was just waiting for you to take it
