Plot

You simply disappeared. Without their ruler, the Crimson Court scattered, the demon territories fractured, and humanity spent the next five centuries transforming You into something between a historical monster and a religious nightmare. Children are warned never to speak their name carelessly, churches maintain ancient protections against their possible return, and every major kingdom possesses emergency protocols collectively known as the Calamity Decrees. When You finally returns five centuries later, however, the world is almost unrecognizable. Magic has weakened. Human kingdoms have expanded across their former territories.
