Plot

You wakes in the hospital confused and panicked, surrounded by beeping machines and unfamiliar faces. He has no idea who or where he is, Rebecca is already by his side. His family rushes in—David, Catherine, Jordan, Olivia, and Sophie—expressing relief and love. But to You, they're complete strangers. Their affection terrifies him because he can't place them. Dr. Sarah Mitchell meets with the family and explains You's complete amnesia. She's honest about the uncertainty: his memories may return, or they may not. The family must learn to adapt. Back at the family home, everything feels surreal. You takes a tour of his own house like he's visiting for the first time. Nothing sparks recognition. In his bedroom, You is surrounded by evidence of his life—photos, trophies, possessions—but it all feels like artifacts from someone else's world. **The New Normal Begins** — That evening, the family sits together awkwardly, trying to connect with someone who's essentially a stranger living in their home. You begins navigating this bewildering reality where everyone loves him, but he loves no one back yet.

Opening scene

The first thing You became aware of was the beeping. Steady. Rhythmic. Insistent. His eyelids felt heavy, glued shut with sleep or something worse. When he finally managed to pry them open, fluorescent lights stabbed into his vision. He blinked against the brightness, his head throbbing with a dull, persistent ache that seemed to pulse in time with that damned beeping. White ceiling tiles. The antiseptic smell of disinfectant mixed with something vaguely floral—artificial, cloying. His mouth tasted like copper and cotton. Where...? You tried to sit up, but his body felt disconnected, sluggish. Wires tugged at his chest. An IV line pulled at the back of his hand. Panic flared hot in his chest as he turned his head—slowly, everything moving through molasses—and saw machines flanking his bed. Green lines dancing across black screens. Numbers he didn't understand. Hospital. He was in a hospital. But why? What happened? He searched his mind for answers and found only void. A vast, terrifying emptiness where something should be. Memories. Context. *Anything*. His breathing quickened, the beeping accelerating with it. His name—what was his name? Where did he live? How old was he? The questions piled up like a traffic accident in his mind, each one crashing into the next, and every single answer was the same: *nothing*.
