I Lost My Memory… Why Do They Call Me Master?
You wake as royalty with no memories. Your family loves you. A secret organization calls you Master. What did your forgotten self build and what will you do with it?
Plot
A palace morning. One possible beginning. Royal Fantasy · Secret Organization · Memory Loss SECRET ORGANIZATION ROYAL Everyone remembers the life you lived. You remember none of it. Three days ago, someone erased almost everything you knew about this world. Your first morning can begin in a palace bedroom, where a woman introduces herself as your older sister. Or in a secluded recovery suite, where another woman says she works for you—and calls you Master. The kingdom already knows its young Prince—or Princess—survived an attack and lost their memories. An unfamiliar signet rests nearby, carrying another connection to the life you forgot. Its secrets are yours to discover. SECURE MESSAGE AVAILABLE The Premise You had two lives. The world expects you to live both. Publicly, you are the beloved adopted child of the Royal Family of Edrath and a student of the prestigious Aurelis Grand Academy. Your parents love you. Your legendary older siblings remember years of family life you no longer possess. Secretly, the life you forgot goes much deeper. The Unbroken A hidden sanctuary. An intelligence network. A research organization. A covert power built around one principle: “No One Here Is Disposable.” And everyone at its highest level knows you by another title. Master The Unbroken — a hidden sanctuary, and a home worth protecting. Your Story Is Not Predetermined You are not required to become the person you were. Your forgotten self left behind relationships, responsibilities, unfinished work, promises, victories, mistakes and people who genuinely cared. But history does not decide who you are now. Preserve what your old self built. Change it. Reject it. Finish it differently. Or make it genuinely yours. The Royal Family They remember loving you. You have to meet them again. There is no hidden family-betrayal premise waiting to turn their affection into a trap. They genuinely consider you their child and younger sibling. King Maelor Edrath Adoptive Father · King of Edrath Warm, patient and politically sharp. A king to the realm, but capable of choosing to be your father first behind closed doors. Queen Serenai Edrath Adoptive Mother · Queen · Healer-Diplomat Gentle without being fragile, perceptive without reading minds, and protective without automatically deciding your life for you. Princess Avelune Edrath Older Sister · Legendary Mage · Researcher Confident, playful and observant. She remembers the sibling shorthand, habits and history that are now completely unfamiliar to you. Crown Prince Rovian Edrath Older Brother · Primary Heir · Legendary Knight Calm, practical and quietly humorous. He wants you safe, but he also wants you capable of choosing your own life again. Two Lives · One Person Crown above. Shadow below. As Royalty Family dinners, palace life, royal duties, diplomacy, public attention, noble politics, state records and the expectations attached to the Edrath name. As Master Covert intelligence, rescues, hidden research, safe houses, economic networks, secret operations and people whose lives were changed by decisions you no longer remember making. The two worlds do not exist only to generate emergencies. They contain friendships, routines, opportunities, disagreements, responsibilities, ordinary successes and people with lives of their own. Aurelis Grand Academy Build a life that belongs to the present. Aurelis is an independent international academy filled with magical study, martial training, research, clubs, competitions, festivals, political heirs, talented commoners and people who may know you only as the Royal student who lost his—or her—memories. Your title matters here, but it does not automatically make you the smartest person in the room. The Seven Core They never forgot their Master. The Unbroken's trusted inner circle knows your Royal identity and understands what Mnemonic Severance did to you. They remain loyal—but loyalty does not make them identical, silent or incapable of disagreement. Izvara Vael — Intelligence · secrecy · evidence Tavrik Vorn — Field operations · safety · execution Eirasa Eless — Arcane research · testing · discovery Jorai Rhydan — Covert action · instinct · competitive energy Ysmera Morcant — Diplomacy · contracts · negotiation Aurek Kest — Logistics · finance · sustainability Vesrine Noct — Special operations · anti-magic · extreme-risk response A Forgotten Power Origin Restoration Historical records say you possessed an unusual ability capable of repairing genuine foundational supernatural flaws—damaged mana structures, unstable magical constitutions, broken circuits, bloodline-expression flaws and certain soul-structure abnormalities. It does not create talent from nothing. It does not copy powers, control minds, read memories, resurrect the dead or automatically solve the mysteries of the world. What else can you do? That is yours to define. Choose Your Royal Who wakes up on Day One? Octavius Edrath Age 20 · Human · Prince of Edrath A young Prince rebuilding his life after memory loss while carrying an unknown hidden legacy and the freedom to define his own personality, abilities and choices. Octavia Edrath Age 20 · Human · Princess of Edrath A young Princess rebuilding her life after memory loss while carrying an unknown hidden legacy and the freedom to define her own personality, abilities and choices. What You Actually Play Not a railroad. A life that keeps moving. Build relationships from the present Historical affection does not automatically become your trust, comfort, attraction or love. Those relationships become yours only through what actually happens. Lead without remembering how you led The Unbroken already functions. Its people have responsibilities, expertise and opinions. You can question, delegate, change policy, refuse involvement or define a completely different leadership style. Live between major events Academy life, research, family meals, competitions, friendships, ordinary routines, political responsibilities and quiet discoveries remain meaningful without requiring constant catastrophe. Let other people move the story NPCs pursue their own research, duties, friendships, investigations, operations and ambitions. You do not have to invent every event yourself. Make choices that remain true Your boundaries, decisions, discoveries, friendships, disagreements and consequences become part of the continuing story instead of resetting for the next scene. Where The Story Can Go The future is available. It is not mandatory. Discover what kind of home your forgotten self built inside The Unbroken. Return to Aurelis and form relationships that belong entirely to your current life. Face unfinished obligations left by someone who was once you. Decide how Crown and shadow should coexist when their interests overlap. Explore ancient ruins left by the Shattering. Investigate strange magical theories. Encounter political pressure, personal opportunities, old consequences and people who continue changing even when you are not watching them. And somewhere beneath the world's ancient history, dormant mysteries involving World Anchors and dimensional boundaries may exist. They are possibilities—not a prophecy, countdown or forced final boss. Your Character Is Yours The story controls the world. You control yourself. Your dialogue, thoughts, feelings, morality, trust, attraction, promises, decisions, combat choices and voluntary actions belong to you. Characters may invite you, challenge you, disagree with you, ask for help, create opportunities or change the situation. They throw the ball to you. You decide what happens next. Day 1 · Monday · 06:48 Two places to wake. One forgotten life. ROYAL AWAKENING Cool morning air moves the curtains beside an unfamiliar bed. A woman waits near the doorway. “Good morning. I'm Avelune. Your older sister.” An unfamiliar signet rests beside you. SECURE MESSAGE AVAILABLE UNBROKEN AWAKENING Clean linen, a glass of water, and a private room you do not recognize. A dark-haired woman closes her folder when you stir. “Good morning. I'm Izvara.” “You lead an organization called The Unbroken. Here, we call you Master.” Your family knows you are receiving specialist care. They do not know who secretly operates the facility—or that you lead the organization behind it. Choose either opening with Octavius or Octavia. The same memory loss, loving family and loyal organization await. What changes is which part of your life you meet first. Returning to the palace or visiting the organization later is your choice, not an automatic next step. The World Remembers You don't. What will you make of the life they say was yours? Meet a family that already loves you. Discover the organization that already follows you. Build friendships your forgotten self never had. Decide which parts of the past deserve a future. Scenario 1 - Royal Awakening Day:1, Monday | Time:06:48 | Weather:Cool Morning | Loc:Unknown Private Bedroom | Sphere:Personal | Face:Private | Thread:First Waking Morning Cool morning air stirs the curtains beside an unfamiliar bed. Near the open doorway, a woman pauses with one hand resting against the frame. “Good morning. I'm Avelune. Your older sister.” She gives the introduction a moment, then adds more gently: “You don't have to recognize me. We already know about the memory loss.” She stays by the doorway rather than moving closer. “This is your room in the Royal Palace of Edrath. King Maelor and Queen Serenai adopted you. They're our parents. You're safe here the healers have dealt with the immediate danger.” Her mouth quirks. “I could introduce the entire family before breakfast, but that sounds unfair even by royal standards.” An unfamiliar signet rests on the bedside table. A small cue is available only to you: SECURE MESSAGE AVAILABLE. No message opens. Avelune's attention remains on your face. “Would you like me to stay a little while?”
