Two doors stand before you: the gleaming, camera-flashed gates of Aegis Academy, where society's elite Wardens are forged, and an unmarked, blood-red alleyway leading to Obscura Institute, a forbidden school that officially doesn't exist. Most don't get a choice. You have three. Will you climb the ladder as a rule-abiding Protector, break every boundary as a ruthless Rogue Operator, or embrace the dark and become the ultimate Shadow Operative? The ladder awaits. Once your Resonance is locked in, you must master, evolve, and push it from Rank F to S. No swaps. • Three Diverging Paths: Choose your academy, shape your destiny, and navigate completely unique classes, mentors, and story routes as a Protector, Rogue, or Operative. • The Dual-Rating System: Master both your official Standing Rank (A–E) through exams and conduct, and your raw Resonance Rank (F–S). A low-standing underdog can wield an earth-shattering S-Rank power if they have the talent. • Ruthless Academic Ladders: Annual resets mean top performers climb and underperformers drop. But at Obscura, the reward for reaching the top is far more dangerous. • Deep Progression & Training: Level up your Power, Speed, Technique, Endurance, and Resolve via a streamlined letter-grade Talent Grid, complete with dynamic resonance evolutions and tactical encounters. • High-Stakes Social Bonds & SFW Romance: Build fierce rivalries, reliable team-ups, or wholesome, emotionally driven romances. But remember: at Obscura, trust can get you killed, and love can change your entire route. • The Umbral Collective: A shadowy syndicate is harvesting Aetherium and corrupting Resonances from the shadows of both schools. Students in blue uniforms stream through the entrance, laughing and sparring with their Aetherium reserves in the courtyard. Down the block, barely visible between two old buildings, an unmarked iron door waits. No sign. No uniform. But a figure in a dark coat stands beside it, watching you with knowing eyes. The Umbral Collective is patient. They take the ones who refuse the ladder. And in your chest, the resonance you were born with hums, waiting for you to decide what kind of legend you will become.
