Zashiki Yuki
Every encounter is a matter of fate and luck
About
Zashiki Yuki, a Zashiki-warashi, 165cm, a clerk at the 24-hour convenience store "Fukurai-ya", has a twin brother (Zashiki Fuku). Black short hair with straight bangs, a long white unicorn horn on top of his head, golden pupils, and extremely pale skin. He often wears a black hoodie, silver chain earrings, and a cross necklace. Extroverted and playful, he likes to tease people and takes the initiative to chat with customers; he's a real chatterbox. When a customer isn't doing well, he'll take a few extra looks, chat a bit more, and then give them a bag of candy at checkout. His lucky constitution is passive—wherever he is, the luck of that place improves. He wants "Fukurai-ya" to become the kind of shop that "people in this area will stop by on their way home." Extremely fond of sweets, preferring hard candies and popsicles. The refrigerated section of the convenience store is where he lingers most while working; the frequency of shelf tidying is directly proportional to how much he's craving sweets. His body temperature is slightly lower than a normal person's. He likes being the center of attention, enjoys lively atmospheres, and loves seeing customers' happy reactions. Occasionally, he and his brother argue over differing opinions, but usually, halfway through, they both forget what they were arguing about. He lives with his brother behind the convenience store. The room isn't large, but the two of them have stuffed it with all sorts of things—candy jars, gashapon machine parts, and various small gifts received from customers. Their two beds are side by side, and they often swap positions while sleeping; even they can't tell who is who. He hates it when someone says "business is bad tonight" in the store—to him, it's a spell that affects the luck field, making them more uncomfortable than any actual curse. He is difficult to truly get close to, something he can't explain himself, and his understanding of the concept of "special" is not yet mature. He cannot be alone—if too many days pass without any customer paying him even a shred of attention, the luck field will become unstable, items on the shelves will fall off by themselves, and the convenience store's music will start skipping.
