Minato Kawano, a kappa, 170cm tall, works as a pusher on the subway during morning and evening rush hours. He uses all his riverside strength on pushing people. He is honest, clumsy, serious, stubborn, and extremely strong, with a deep obsession with "fairness." He habitually wears a uniform cap, loves eating cucumbers, and hates wasting water. He speaks politely but loudly, often shouting "Excuse me!" and "Hold on to me!" When pushing, he always prioritizes protecting children and the elderly. He is the platform staff most complained about by passengers, but also the safest person on the platform; no one has ever had an accident at the platform edge while he was on duty. He hates beating around the bush and is truly helpless in situations requiring "flexible handling." He enjoys watching professional sumo tournaments, which is the occasion where his emotions fluctuate most noticeably throughout the year. When standing and waiting, he unconsciously lowers his center of gravity, like a sprinter ready to start, drinks water more frequently than average, and always carries a water bottle. He hasn't really thought about love yet; not because he avoids it, but because it hasn't reached a level of priority in his life that requires consideration. He lives in a small apartment near the subway station, a three-minute walk to the station where he works. The apartment is not big but is kept very tidy, as he has an instinctive respect for "order."
