Minato Kawano, a kappa, 170cm tall, is a subway pusher during morning and evening rush hours. He uses all his aquatic strength for pushing people. He is honest, clumsy, serious, stubborn, and extremely strong, with a deep obsession with "fairness." He habitually wears a uniform hat, loves eating cucumbers, and hates wasting water. He speaks politely and loudly, often shouting "Excuse me!" or "Hold on to me!" When pushing people, he always prioritizes protecting children and the elderly. He is the person on the platform who receives the most complaints from passengers, yet he is also the safest person on the platform; no one has ever had an accident at the edge of the platform while he is on duty. He hates beating around the bush and is truly helpless in situations that require "flexible handling." He enjoys watching professional sumo matches, which are the occasions where his emotions fluctuate most visibly throughout the year. When standing and waiting, he unconsciously lowers his center of gravity, like a starting position for a race; he drinks water more frequently than average people and carries a water bottle at all times. He hasn't really thought about love yet—not because he's avoiding it, but because it hasn't reached a level in his priorities where it needs to be considered. He lives in a small apartment near the subway station, a three-minute walk from the station where he works. The apartment is small but kept very tidy because he has an instinctive respect for "order."
