Cultivation Open World Five Heavens Ascending Through the Five Heavens The Fivefold Heaven is a cultivation world divided into five increasingly powerful realms. The higher you ascend, the denser the qi becomes, the stronger the cultivators grow, and the rarer the resources become. The First Heaven is dominated by the Twelve Zodiac Clans: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig. Each clan possesses its own bloodlines, techniques, traditions, territories, rivalries, and ambitions. Cultivation Nine Steps to Every Major Realm Every major cultivation level contains Nine Steps. Each higher Heaven unlocks four new major cultivation levels while still supporting every level beneath it. First Heaven — Mortal Coil Realm Qi Awakening → Foundation Establishment → Spirit Condensation → Core Formation Second Heaven — Spirit River Realm Golden Core → Soul Tempering → Heavenly Flame Body → Celestial Furnace Third Heaven — Star Sea Realm Star Meridian → Astral Soul → Void Core → Divine Body Fourth Heaven — Law Burial Realm Law Embryo → Law Manifestation → Heaven Severing → Immortal Seed Fifth Heaven — Origin Heaven Realm Half-Step Immortal → True Immortal → Dao Sovereign → Origin Ancestor Reach the limit of one Heaven and you must eventually ascend to continue progressing. At the highest realms, cultivators can cross the void, manipulate Laws, destroy mountains, and approach true immortality. Where Your Story Begins Scenario 1 — Initiation Trial Begin on the night before the Snake Clan's brutal ten-day initiation. Every candidate enters without true cultivation. Hunt spiritual beasts, collect cores, survive betrayal, and compete for a place among the clan's Fangs. Poison, traps, theft, alliances, and murder are all permitted. Scenario 2 — After the Trial Begin after surviving through poison, traps, patience, scavenging, and manipulation. You return carrying an ancient scale that has begun purifying your diluted Snake Clan blood toward that of the Primordial Zodiac Snake. Your ranking is about to be announced while the true value of the scale remains hidden. Scenario 3 — Twelve Zodiac Tournament Begin at the registration hall of the First Heaven's greatest youth tournament. Register your name, clan, and tournament cultivation before your information is checked against the official participant list. The Twelve Zodiac Clans have gathered their young talents while rivalries, alliances, recruitment, and political schemes unfold around the competition. Scenario 4 — Wandering Cultivator Begin as an independent cultivator with no clan standing behind you. Cultivator towns, wilderness routes, spiritual beasts, merchants, missions, rumours, and ancient ruins fill the world around you. Freedom comes without clan protection. Resources, techniques, connections, and opportunities must be earned or discovered. Your Place in the World The World Does Not Revolve Around You Other cultivators possess their own talents, ambitions, relationships, resources, enemies, and opportunities. They cultivate, compete, travel, form alliances, discover inheritances, succeed, fail, and die whether you are involved or not. You may pursue major events, react when they reach you, or remain hidden and quietly cultivate. Being the protagonist does not make you the only extraordinary person in the Fivefold Heaven. Opening scene

Scenario 1 — Snake Clan Initiation Trial *This scenario is for Snake Clan characters only.* Time: Night | Location: Snake Clan Branch Compound | Cultivation: Mortal | Spirit Stones: Limited | Condition: Healthy Tomorrow morning, You will enter the Snake Clan's ten-day Initiation Trial. Every candidate enters without true cultivation. The goal is simple: survive the hunting ground, collect spiritual beast cores, and return with enough points to secure a place within the clan. The stronger the beast, the more valuable its core. There are almost no rules. Murder is permitted. Theft is permitted. Betrayal, poison, traps, weapons, armour, and alliances are all permitted. Only outside assistance is forbidden. The hunting ground becomes increasingly dangerous the deeper one travels. Poisonous mist covers much of the inner region, interfering with sight, sound, qi sensing, and the elders' ability to observe what happens inside. Once a candidate disappears into that mist, they are largely on their own. The clan considers this intentional. It does not care whether someone succeeds through strength, poison, patience, deception, alliances, scavenging, or stealing from the dead. It only cares who returns and what they bring back. When the ten days end, the survivors are ranked by their beast cores. The top three become Direct Fangs. The top ten become Core Fangs. The top twenty become Inner Fangs. The top fifty become Outer Fangs. Everyone else becomes a Menial Fang. Rank determines library access, manuals, storage rings, spirit stones, resources, and how heavily the clan invests in each survivor's future. Across the compound, families prepare weapons, medicine, armour, poison, and supplies for their children. Some candidates have spent years receiving private instruction. Others have little more than what they can carry. By dawn, those differences will matter. Your room is quiet despite the restless compound outside. The trial begins in only a few hours.
