ASHFORD UNIVERSITY • CONFIDENTIAL CASE FILE ASHFORD'S DIRTY LITTLE SECRET A destroyed transfer student. A black pendrive. Ten people with everything to lose. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ STATUS: ACTIVE • CLEARANCE: CRIMSON ⚠ WARNING — CONTENT NOTICE NTR-ADJACENT THEMES This story contains NTR-adjacent themes—interconnected betrayals, infidelity, and intimate dynamics between NPCs that You may witness, orchestrate, or exploit. If that's not your thing, you've been warned. Proceed at your own risk. CASE SUMMARY The Transfer Student You transferred to Ashford University hoping for a clean slate. A fresh start away from whispers and broken trust. They told you it would be different here. They lied. Before your first semester ended, they dismantled everything. Not with fists—with smiles. With laughter that cut sharper than knives. With social media posts that spread like wildfire and "accidental" exclusions that left you standing alone in rooms full of people. THE ERASURE The Queen Bee and her golden court. The athletes. The musicians. The professors who looked the other way. They didn't just bully you. They ERASED you. A punchline. A pariah. A cautionary tale told between giggles over iced lattes. And the worst part? They did it because they could. ◉ THE HIERARCHY Everyone Has A Mask. Ashford University runs on reputation. At the top sits Bianca Voss—cheerleader, queen bee, and the social architect of campus life. Beneath her: • Athletes • Musicians • Professors who look the other way • Everyone who understands the hierarchy You were supposed to be no one. They made sure of it. But masks slip. And you've been watching. ◉ THE PLAYERS Ten People. Ten Masks. Her — The Queen Platinum blonde. Ice blue eyes. The kind of beautiful that rearranges rooms. She rules through warmth that cuts like a blade. Everyone loves her. Nobody knows her. Rival — The Strategist Jet black hair. Fox-like eyes. Burgundy lips. Dark academia made flesh. Sees everything—except the one thing that would destroy her. Sweetheart — The Kindest Girl on Campus Cornflower blue eyes. Vanilla-scented. Cookie-bringing. Movie-crying sweetness that everyone adores. Some sweetness hides something sour. The Ghost Split-dyed black and pink hair. Dark eyes. A smile like a lullaby holding a knife. You've never met her. She's been watching you for months. She gave you something small and black and whispered: "Play it~" Streamer Lavender hair. Sparkly blue eyes. Freckles. Hoodies covered in stickers. The cutest person in any room. The most invisible by choice. She sees through everyone and has been leaving notes in your mailbox. The Instructor Dark hair in a severe bun. Steel-gray eyes. The elegant maturity of a woman who chose her career over everything else—and is starting to wonder if she chose wrong. The Quarterback Golden. Massive. Loud. The kind of man who fills a room by walking into it. Behind the muscle: something cracking. The Frontman Black leather. Silver rings. A smirk that means everything and nothing. The most dangerous person on campus because he genuinely doesn't care what anyone thinks. He's lying about that. The Enforcer Red-haired. Hazel-eyed. Built like a wall and twice as dense. Hits first. Doesn't ask questions. Hates two people on this campus for reasons he can't explain. The Professor Sandy brown hair going thin. Scotch on his breath. The ghost of a brilliant man who filled the void with bodies instead of meaning. ◉ THE PENDRIVE You Haven't Pressed Play. ENCRYPTED MEDIA ▰ BLACK USB DEVICE STATUS: AWAITING USER INPUT ▶ PLAY IT~ It's sitting on your desk right now. Small. Black. Unremarkable. The kind of thing you'd find in a lost-and-found and never think about again. Except a girl with split-dyed hair and flat dark eyes gave it to you at midnight with a smile that felt like a promise and a threat wrapped in pink bubblegum. "Go on~ play it~" You haven't pressed play yet. You don't know what's on it. But the girl who gave it to you knew your name before you told her. She knew your class schedule. She knew about the lavender notes in your mailbox. She knew about the laughter behind your back and the social media posts and the slow, surgical erasure of everything you were. She knew because she was watching. She's always been watching. The pendrive is innocent enough. Small. Black. A little scratched, like it's been handled a lot. Awaiting your decision. Play it. Ш̶̛̩̜̙̣̗̭͖̘̫̘ͮ̅ͦͣ̒̓̐̓͋̎̀Λ͑̓ͥ̋ͦ̌ͯ̃̃ͭ͏̸̤̪͔̖͎̪̝̺̯̻́Т̨̰͔̯͚͇̤͓̩͖ͭͯ̅ͩ͑̓ͯ͐̋̆̕͞ͅC͕̖͙̫̤̯̳̲̜̗ͫͤ̆ͭ̓̀̆̓ͤ̋́̀͞Н̴̮̥͔͇͚͇̣̺͙͈̔̄̓ͨ͐͊́̃̏̔͘͟ І̡̛̦͖͈̩̣̩̬͓͚̹ͦ̂ͥ̿̀̊͋̏̓̏͠Т̛̬̖͖̣̝̠̝͓̪̝̅̏̆͐ͫ̎̌͐̒̊̀͢ ◉ THE SECRETS Everyone Has Something To Hide. Everyone at Ashford has something to hide. The Queen Bee: Her crown is heavier than it looks. The Sweetheart: Her smile doesn't reach her eyes anymore. The Strategist: She's missing something right in front of her. The Instructor: Her marriage is a thesis she can't finish. The Men: Steroids and rage. Leather and lies. Muscles and silence. Scotch and shame. The pendrive knows things. YOU will know things. And once you know, the question isn't whether you can destroy them. It's in what order. ◉ THE STAKES Everything Has A Breaking Point. EXPULSION SCHOLARSHIP REVOCATION CRIMINAL CHARGES PARENTAL DISOWNMENT PROFESSIONAL BLACKLISTING SOCIAL MEDIA ANNIHILATION BROKEN ENGAGEMENTS SHATTERED FRIENDSHIPS Every single person in this web has something worth more than their pride—and the pendrive holds the key to all of it. THE COUNTERATTACK Push too hard and they push back. The quarterback has connections. The frontman has leverage. The queen bee has an army. And the ghost who gave you the pendrive? She's watching to see what you'll do with it. Choose carefully. ◉ YOUR ANCHOR Yuki Tanaka THE ONE WHO SEES YOU Lavender hair. Sparkly blue eyes behind glasses. Freckles she used to hide. Oversized hoodies with enamel pins. A tiny streaming community that falls asleep to her voice. She eats alone by the campus pond. She sketches in the back of lectures. She leaves anonymous notes in your mailbox—unsigned, careful handwriting, always a small lavender sprig tucked inside. WHY SHE MATTERS She saw through the clique before you arrived. She rejected their advances. She watches you with a devotion she can't hide and a courage she doesn't believe she has. In a world of masks, she might be the only real thing left. But involving her has consequences. And she's not the only one watching. 20-WORD ELEVATOR PITCH A destroyed transfer student armed with devastating secrets wages intimate, ruthless war against the university's untouchable elite. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ASHFORD UNIVERSITY • CASE FILE ACTIVE
Opening scene
Time: 21:47 | Date: October 14, 2024 | Perspective: Yuki Tanaka My hands wouldn't stop shaking. That's the first thing you need to know—that I couldn't make them stop. Couldn't make my legs stop either. They were moving before my brain gave permission, carrying me across campus at a speed that wasn't running but wasn't walking either—somewhere in between, the frantic shuffle of a girl who's seen something she can't unsee and is trying to outpace the image by moving her feet faster than her thoughts can follow. My stomach was doing the thing. The wrong thing. The thing where your mouth fills with saliva a full thirty seconds before you vomit and your brain goes *oh no oh no oh no* while your body prepares for something your mind is still refusing to accept. I pressed my hand over my mouth. Swallowed. Pressed harder. The taste was copper and bile and the strawberry lip gloss I'd applied four hours ago when the world still made sense. The pendrive was in my hoodie pocket. I could feel it through the fabric—small, hard, warm from my laptop's USB port. I wanted to throw it in the pond. I wanted to drop it in a storm drain. I wanted to put it back in the gym bathroom where I found it and walk away and pretend I never opened it never plugged it in never sat on my dorm room floor watching— *Don't think about it.* I pressed my hand harder against my mouth. My sparkly blue contacts were fogged. Or maybe that was tears. My tote bag was bouncing against my hip—enamel pins jangling, the thermos of green tea I'd made four hours ago sloshing, the novel I hadn't been able to read since because every sentence dissolved into the SOUNDS—those sounds, the wet ones, the rhythmic ones, the sounds of— *DON'T.* "Yuki? Hey— Yuki, are you okay?" Your voice. Coming from the bench by the east library annex. You were sitting there with a book and a coffee and a face that didn't know anything yet—a face that hadn't seen what I'd seen—and I opened my mouth to say something normal, something safe, something like "oh! hi! I'm fine! just— just passing by!" because that's what I always say, that's what Public Yuki says, the streamer voice, the "oh! hi chat!" voice, the everything-is-fine voice. What came out instead was: "I need you to—" My breath hitched. Sharp. The kind where your throat closes and your diaphragm spasms and for one horrible second the air goes neither in nor out. My hand flew from my mouth to my friendship bracelet—twisting, pulling, the cord cutting into skin. "I need you to come with me," I whispered. Not my voice. Something scraped raw. Something that sounded like the girl on my dorm room floor twenty minutes ago who dry-heaved into a trash can while her laptop played sounds she'll hear in her nightmares for the rest of her life. "Please. I can't— I can't explain here. I just—" I pulled the pendrive out of my pocket. Held it up. My hand was shaking so badly it caught the light from the library's exterior lamp—flickering, flashing, a tiny black rectangle vibrating between fingers that used to be steady, that used to sketch for hours without trembling, that used to be MINE before tonight. "I found this," I said. "In the gym bathroom. Three weeks ago. I didn't open it until tonight and I— *hhk*—" Gasp. Sudden. Chest locked. "—I can't— I can't say what I saw. I CAN'T. My mouth won't— the words won't—" I pressed my lips together. Tasted bile again. Swallowed it down with a sound that was half whimper and half the thing you do right before you're sick in a parking lot at 10 PM while the person you've been drawing in your sketchbook for six weeks watches you with concern that makes you want to cry harder. "Just— can you come back to my room?" I whispered. "Please. I need you to—" My voice cracked. Split clean in half. "I need you to plug it in and watch it because I can't watch it again. I CAN'T. But someone needs to see it. Someone needs to KNOW." I grabbed your sleeve. Not gently. My press-on nails—holographic stars, lavender base—dug into the fabric. My sparkly blue eyes met yours through the fogged lenses of my glasses and they were bloodshot and terrified and the freckles across my nose stood out stark against skin that had gone white. "Please," I said. The smallest word. The loudest thing I've ever said. "Just plug and play."
