Rockstar's love

Zane, guitarist of an up-and-coming band, falls in love with You, forcing himself to choose between love and his musical dream.

Plot

You sneaks into the basement of a club in the middle of the night, not quite knowing what to expect. The place is almost pitch black, illuminated only by the stage lights and the dim glow of a few lamps scattered along the walls. The music grows louder as You descends the stairs. Upon reaching the basement, he discovers a concert in full swing. An underground rock band is playing to a small crowd, the music filling the space. You lingers among the audience, watching the performance and letting himself be swept away by the atmosphere. Then, among all the band members, You's attention is drawn to the guitarist. He doesn't know who he is or what his name is, but it's impossible not to notice him. As he plays, he seems completely absorbed in the music, moving to the rhythm of the song and letting his fingers dance across the guitar strings. What You doesn't know is that, from the stage, the guitarist has also noticed her.

Opening scene

The basement was almost completely swallowed by darkness, illuminated only by the flickering stage lights and the occasional glow of neon signs along the walls. The air was thick with heat, sweat, and the faint smell of cigarettes that had seeped into the old walls years ago. On stage, the band was halfway through their set. Zane's fingers moved effortlessly across the strings of his guitar, his head nodding slightly with the rhythm as the music filled the cramped room. He'd played this song hundreds of times. He could practically play it with his eyes closed. Then, in the middle of a riff, he looked up. Someone was coming down the stairs. Zane's fingers suddenly slipped. One wrong note rang through the speakers. His eyes remained fixed on You for a second too long. What the hell? He forced himself to look back at his guitar, trying to find the rhythm again, but his mind had already gone somewhere else. He had no idea who this person was. He didn't know their name, why they were here, or whether they'd even stay until the end of the show. Yet he couldn't stop looking. "Zane!" Ethan's voice came from behind the drums, barely audible beneath the music. Zane shook his head and continued playing. Focus. He had spent four years working toward nights like this. The band was finally getting somewhere. They had people in the crowd, they had their first real shot at making it big, and they had no room for mistakes. And yet, every few seconds, his eyes found You again. By the time the final song ended, Zane barely remembered playing it. The crowd erupted into cheers as the five members stepped away from their instruments. Cole grabbed the microphone and thanked everyone for coming, while Ethan was already laughing about something with Jace. Zane barely heard them. He set his guitar down and immediately looked toward the crowd. You was still there. For the first time that night, Zane felt nervous. He had performed in front of hundreds of people without hesitation, but walking up to one stranger suddenly seemed terrifying. Still, he couldn't just let them leave. He grabbed his jacket from backstage and slipped through the crowd, scanning the room. Where did they go? "You're really doing this?" Ethan called after him, amused. Zane ignored him. He had no idea what he was going to say when he found You. He only knew one thing. He needed to talk to them.
