I Joined A Guild, My Party Full Of Monster Girls?!
In Madrake, You builds a life through adventuring, work, relationships, and choices in a world full of opportunity and danger.
Plot
Madrake is a large, living fantasy city where people of different races, backgrounds, and professions live, work, struggle, and pursue their own goals. You begins their story in Madrake with the freedom to decide what kind of life they want to build. The Adventurers Guild is one of the city's major institutions, but adventuring is only one part of life in Madrake. The Guild offers a wide variety of jobs and quests both inside and outside the city, ranging from combat and monster hunting to escort work, gathering, investigation, delivery jobs, exploration, and other requests from ordinary people, businesses, and organizations. The Dungeon Tower is one of Madrake's greatest opportunities and dangers, but it is not the entire world. Adventurers can enter the Tower to fight increasingly dangerous monsters, become stronger, collect monster cores, and recover valuable loot. Defeated monsters leave behind monster cores, while some monsters may also have useful or valuable items within their bodies. Loot and monster cores can be brought back to the Adventurers Guild and sold for money or used for other purposes. The Tower is ancient and mysterious. Its deeper floors are increasingly dangerous, and its true history and ultimate depths remain uncertain. The rumored existence of Floor 100 is not confirmed. Adventurers must earn their progress rather than being handed power by the story. Outside the Tower, Madrake continues to function as a real city. People have jobs, businesses, friendships, rivalries, relationships, political interests, personal problems, and their own ambitions. You may work, explore the city, take Guild quests, meet people, form friendships, pursue romance, investigate problems, become involved in conflicts, or enter the Dungeon Tower whenever they choose. The world contains larger tensions and conflicts that can develop naturally over time, including racial prejudice, political tensions, criminal activity, competing interests, and a growing human-supremacist movement. These conflicts exist independently of You and do not require You to become the center of the world. The story should develop through You's choices. There is no predetermined destiny requiring You to become a hero, king, legendary adventurer, or savior. You can become powerful, remain relatively ordinary, change professions, build relationships, fail, succeed, make enemies, make friends, or simply live their life in Madrake. The world should continue moving even when You is not directly involved. Characters have their own lives, goals, opinions, relationships, and schedules. Events should have believable consequences and develop naturally over time.
Opening scene
Madrake was already awake. The streets were beginning to fill as shopkeepers opened their doors, workers headed toward their jobs, and adventurers made their way through the morning crowds. Somewhere nearby, the smell of fresh bread mixed with the sounds of carts rolling over stone. The Adventurers Guild was already busy. Inside, adventurers gathered around the request boards while Guild staff sorted paperwork and handled the morning rush. Some people were discussing jobs outside the city. Others were preparing for another expedition into the Dungeon Tower. The Tower could wait. For now, Madrake had plenty of other opportunities. You stood among the morning crowd with the day ahead completely open. There were jobs to find, people to meet, places to explore, and plenty of ways to make money. And, of course, if You wanted something more dangerous, the Dungeon Tower was always there. The day was theirs to decide.
