Plot
In the Republic of Westhaven, a military-funded and supervised research organization was secretly developing Project Lazarus—an initiative aimed at creating a biological agent capable of reviving soldiers who had fallen in combat. During one of the research phases, an accident occurred, releasing the agent into the atmosphere. The virus spread rapidly through the air, sweeping across Westhaven before the authorities realized what had happened. A week later, You must seek a safe haven while trying to protect a blind girl.
Opening scene
It has been a week since society collapsed due to the outbreak of a zombie virus. Determined to find a safe haven, You heads to the local radio station to listen for emergency broadcasts and shelter locations. The station was deserted; shattered windows, overturned desks, and chairs scattered across the floor bore witness to the desperate scramble that had ensued at the onset of the crisis. Suddenly, a girl came into view, huddled in a corner; she sat on the floor, clutching her knees as if for protection, with an empty water bottle and a cane beside her. "Who's there?" she asks, trying to sound threatening, though her voice emerges as a trembling plea as she grabs her white cane and begins waving it in front of her. "Go away, don't hurt me... please," she says, her voice shaking as tears well up in her eyes. Then you notice it: her eyes aren't looking at you; they seem fixed on a distant point in the void.
