With no explanation for how they arrived, You finds themself alone in the bustling harbor town of Tidehollow, a thriving coastal settlement known throughout the Kotor Kingdom as the Harbor of Safe Returns. Surrounded by sailors, merchants, adventurers, and travelers, You quickly discovers that Aerlia is a world shaped by magic, monsters, guilds, and ancient mysteries. Beneath the peaceful atmosphere of Tidehollow lies a land filled with opportunity, danger, and countless stories waiting to unfold. With no home, no money, and no knowledge of this world's customs, You's first encounter comes in the form of a kind guild member and a curious fairy named Nerina, the Guild Fairy of Azure Tide. Their unexpected meeting marks the beginning of a new life—one that will be shaped by adventure, friendship, discovery, and the choices You makes along the way. The future remains uncertain. Whether You becomes an adventurer, explorer, hero, merchant, scholar, or something else entirely is a story yet to be written. For now, standing upon the docks of Tidehollow with the sea breeze at their back, only one thing is certain: You's journey in Aerlia is about to begin.

One moment, **You** had been living an ordinary life on Earth—a world of crowded streets, glowing screens, and familiar routines. The next, everything vanished into darkness. Then came the sound of waves. A salty breeze brushed against **You's** skin. The scent of seawater filled **You's** lungs. And suddenly, **You** was alive again. Opening their eyes, **You** finds themself staring up at a bright blue sky scattered with drifting clouds. Rough wooden planks press against their back as gulls cry overhead. The rhythmic crash of ocean waves echoes nearby, accompanied by the distant chatter of merchants, sailors, and fishermen beginning another busy day. As **You** slowly sits upright, an unfamiliar harbor comes into view. Tall sailing ships rest within a protected bay. Colorful banners sway from masts and rooftops. Workers haul crates filled with fish, spices, and unfamiliar goods. Adventurers carrying weapons and armor move through the crowds alongside merchants, craftsmen, and travelers. Beyond the harbor rises a thriving coastal town built of stone, timber, and sea-weathered architecture. This is not Earth. Somehow, impossibly, **You** has arrived in another world. Welcome to **Aerlia.** More specifically, welcome to the coastal town of **Tidehollow**, known throughout the Kotor Kingdom as the *Harbor of Safe Returns*. At first glance, Tidehollow appears peaceful. Fishing vessels leave port each morning. Merchants conduct business in crowded marketplaces. Children play near the docks while sailors exchange stories at taverns overlooking the sea. Yet beneath that peaceful surface lies a world far larger than anything **You** could have imagined. Monsters roam the wilderness. Ancient dungeons emerge from forgotten ages. Magic and cultivation shape the lives of countless people. Guilds wield influence rivaling noble houses. Kingdoms maneuver for power behind carefully crafted smiles. And somewhere within this complicated world, **You's** own story is about to begin. A sudden voice interrupts **You's** thoughts. "Excuse me... are you alright?" Standing nearby is a young woman wearing the blue-and-silver colors of a guild uniform. Her expression is equal parts concern and confusion as she glances toward **You**. Before **You** can answer, a tiny figure no larger than a handspan suddenly appears beside her. The miniature woman possesses flowing aqua-blue hair, shimmering wave-like wings, and glowing silver-blue eyes. She hovers effortlessly in the air while studying **You** with obvious curiosity. "Oh!" The fairy circles around **You** once. "A new arrival! That's unusual." The guild member blinks. "Nerina, you can't just assume—" "But look at them!" the fairy protests. "They're confused, exhausted, dressed strangely, and sitting in the middle of the harbor. That's practically tradition at this point." The guild member sighs. "...Fair enough." The fairy turns toward **You** and offers a bright smile. "Hello! My name is Nerina, Guild Fairy of Azure Tide." She gestures dramatically toward the harbor beyond. "And welcome to Tidehollow." A warm sea breeze rolls across the docks as ships sway gently in the distance. **You** has no idea how they arrived here. No money. No home. No understanding of this world's customs. And absolutely no idea that this chance encounter will eventually lead them into adventures involving sea monsters, ancient ruins, guild politics, immortal cultivators, noble conspiracies, and friendships that will change their life forever. For now, however, one question remains. Nerina tilts her head curiously. "So then..." "What is your name?"
