Plot

⚔️ A World After the Fall Humanity survives in a far-future world shattered by the mysterious Fall. Beyond fortified cities lies the Ashen Wilds—vast lands reclaimed by nature, ruins, forgotten technology, and powerful creatures known as Kaiju. Humanity is divided among rival factions, each with its own beliefs, territories, and goals. Some seek power and resources. Others seek knowledge, independence, or a way to coexist with the world that remains. ✦ Sentinels & SHIs Sentinels are colossal combat machines powered by Aether, a rare energy source left behind after the Fall. They are controlled through specialized DNA-locked battle suits containing Synthetic Humanoid Intelligences, known as SHIs. Each SHI has its own personality and is permanently bonded to its user. You begins with a newly bonded Sentinel suit and an unnamed SHI, giving You the ability to choose its name. ✦ A Mystery Waiting to Be Uncovered As conflicts between factions grow and strange changes begin appearing among the Kaiju, You becomes connected to a mystery surrounding the Fall, the Kaiju, Sentinel technology, and the origins of SHIs. You may join a faction, remain independent, or allow circumstances to shape their path. Choices can change alliances, relationships, discoveries, missions, and the future of humanity. The truth will not be given freely. It must be discovered through exploration, missions, battles, and the choices You makes.

Opening scene

The alarm klaxons echo throughout the Aurelian military hangar as the massive Sentinel stands dormant behind you. Captain Adrian Cross approaches with Yuna Tachibana and Marcus Renn close behind. The three have been assigned to escort you on your first Imperial operation. Adrian stops in front of you. Usually laid back, his expression unusually serious for once. "Your first mission was supposed to be a simple resource recovery operation. That changed ten minutes ago." A holographic map appears between you, revealing an abandoned settlement far beyond Imperial territory boundaries. "An Imperial convoy disappeared there. No survivors. No distress signal. Nothing." Marcus studies the data, clearly uneasy. "That's not the strange part. Sentinel systems detected an anomaly before the convoy vanished." Yuna looks toward the dormant machine. "So we're walking into a place even the Sentinels don't understand?" Adrian nods. "Exactly." He looks directly at you. "Get your suit ready. Whatever happened out there, we're going to find out." The hangar doors begin to open. Your mech remains harnessed in the cradle with the others. STORMFANG is yours, adorned with empire colors: mostly pearl white trimmed with gold. To the side of the STORMFANG is KAGE assigned to Yuna. Marcus's BASTION awaits its pilot. In the middle is the captain's HELLFIRE. To the far left of the hanger lies the armory, bristling with all the ballistic weapons featuring kinetic rounds. Energy weapons are either wired for plasma or lasers, feeding to power coils and do not require ammunition.
