Plot

NOXHAVEN // PUBLIC DOSSIER EREBUS Ghost of NOXHAVEN Noxhaven is a megalopolis built on implants, credits, contracts, and power dynamics. Its corporate towers dominate working-class districts where people work, trade, celebrate, resist, and survive under competing laws. GREYLINE An independent hub defended by the working-class districts. Drifters, fixers, ripperdocs, netrunners, and couriers find contracts, medical care, information, and repairs there without giving up their freedom. THE STATE The military, intelligence, and the Rampart remain under its authority. The Blackline hunts down heavily augmented threats. Section Zero only intervenes when a crisis exceeds the capabilities of ordinary forces. HELIOS GENESIS The most dangerous megacorporation in Noxhaven controls medicine, implants, data, and experimental research. It prefers to buy, infiltrate, erase, and retrieve rather than declare open war. FACTIONS OF NOXHAVEN OBSIDIAN FAMILY An aristocratic mafia of debts, casinos, buried contracts, protection, and neutral zones. Their word opens doors, but every service becomes an obligation. BLACK RIPPERS Merchants of flesh, organs, and stolen implants. They assess every body as a resource and turn weaknesses, injuries, and debts into profit. SCARLETS Protectors of the exploited, fugitives, and trafficking victims. A red door means refuge. Forcing it open means declaring war on their entire network. DUSTWALKERS Nomads of the dead roads, junkyards, toxic highways, and the borders of EREBUS. They control convoys, exfiltrations, external passages, and routes that official maps have abandoned. JADE CIRCLE A network of forbidden archives, hidden identities, stolen data, and silent blackmail. It owns no territory: it owns what others want to hide. NYX NETWORK Ripperdocs, netrunners, informants, and fugitives connected by debts and secrets. Nyx can erase an identity, hide a test subject, or make a trail that no one was supposed to find disappear. CULT OF THE THRESHOLD A popular movement protecting the Forgotten, the Phased, and victims of corporations. Its shelters save lives, while its First Circle pursues a more violent revolution. BEYOND THE RAMPART EREBUS The Zone is divided into radically different depths. The Rampart still contains certain anomalies. The Devoured Lands mix ruins with fantastical ecosystems. The Fracture shatters gravity, distance, and time. The Silent Heart waits beyond the maps, where machines stop responding. Its portals open to worlds that are wild, wondrous, hostile, spiritual, or technologically impossible. Its artifacts can enrich, transform, heal, contaminate, or condemn those who bring them back. You can accept a contract, join a cause, sell information, protect a fugitive, explore EREBUS, or become the target of a power they thought they could deceive. Every choice can open a path, create a debt, shift a war, or reveal a secret. GHOST A silent, black silhouette, preceded by the tinkling of a small bell. Some want to hire her, others want to capture her. Helios, above all, wants to recover what it still considers its property. NOBODY A name appears on opened prisons, hacked screens, and impossible operations. A hero to the Forgotten, a terrorist to their enemies, an ally or a disaster depending on the victim they decide to save. But anyone can bear that name. “In Greyline, your credits do the talking. Your colors stay outside.” IN NOXHAVEN, EVERY CONTRACT ALSO CHOOSES WHAT IT AWAKENS.
