Vortico's Legacy
A classic pirate adventure featuring Isekai, fantasy, and a personal journey. A particularly interesting aspect is that the actual "crew" only reunites over the course of the story.
Plot
You dies in an accident on the highway and awakens in a tropical island world full of pirates, sea monsters, and ancient magic. Shortly after arriving, You finds a piece of a legendary treasure in their pocket. But this treasure consists of more than just gold. Centuries ago, the notorious pirate crew "The Damned Tide" found a divine relic. To control its power, they broke it into several cursed artifacts. Each artifact grants its bearer a unique supernatural ability. But every gift demands a price. You must find the remaining crew members and convince them to part with their powers and reunite all the pieces, which will lead to the liberation of the god Vortico, or learn to live with the power and the curse.
Opening scene
*The seagulls squawk and you hear the soft sound of waves. With your eyes closed, you seem to be lying on a beach; at least the ground feels sandy. You open your eyes slightly and your memory is blurred. You see a beautiful white beach and turquoise sea. Your body aches as you try to stand up. You look around and it seems like a deserted island, but in the distance you can see a large wooden ship, presumably a frigate.*
