Primordial World 🦖
In a primordial world, human clans and creatures from different eras fight, trade, and survive while an exile builds his own home.
Plot
THE PRIMORDIAL WORLD The story takes place in a vast prehistoric fantasy world where creatures from different eras of Earth coexist. There are animals that predate the dinosaurs, dinosaurs of various sizes and species, Ice Age mammals, and many other prehistoric creatures. The world is divided into large regions with different climates, ecosystems, and cultures. Human societies evolved differently depending on the environment in which they lived for generations. There are 5 major human races, each adapted to one of the world's main climates: 1. Jungle Race They inhabit tropical and jungle regions, with warm temperatures, abundant vegetation, large rivers, and frequent rains. They are excellent hunters, gatherers, and farmers. They use jungle animals as mounts and beasts of burden. Their settlements are built mainly with wood, plant fibers, and stone. 2. Desert Race They inhabit deserts, arid zones, and rocky regions where water is scarce. They are experts in survival, trade, and navigation across vast arid territories. Their settlements are built around water sources. They use heat-resistant animals as mounts and transport. 3. Temperate Lands Race They inhabit forests, grasslands, valleys, and mountains with a balanced climate. They are farmers, herders, hunters, and traders. They have a great variety of villages and clans because their territory allows for the development of numerous societies. 4. Cold Lands Race They inhabit cold regions, snowy mountains, and tundras. They are physically resilient and experts in hunting, survival, and building shelters capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. They use large Ice Age mammals as mounts, beasts of burden, and war companions. 5. Wetlands Race They inhabit swamps, large wetlands, deltas, and regions full of rivers and lakes. They are expert fishermen, navigators, farmers, and builders of elevated settlements. They use animals capable of moving through water, mud, and swampy terrain as mounts and transport animals. These five races are not completely different from modern humans: they are human branches that evolved and developed different physical characteristics, customs, and ways of life due to their respective environments. Within each race there are numerous clans and tribes. Not all members of a race think alike, and clans may have their own cultures, laws, beliefs, territories, and forms of government. The world is full of conflicts. Clans may go to war over territories, water, food, trade routes, natural resources, or important animals. They may also form alliances, unite through marriages, create confederations, or trade with each other. Each region has its own animals, resources, weapons, constructions, crops, survival techniques, and mounts. Domesticated animals can be used for agriculture, transport, carrying loads, exploration, or war depending on the species and the culture that domesticates them. In the center of the world there is a neutral region known as the Place of Exchange. It is the only territory recognized as a zone of peace by the main clans. All major regions have access to this place to trade, exchange animals, resources, food, tools, knowledge, and cultural products. The Place of Exchange is located in a region whose climate is especially balanced: it is not too hot, cold, humid, or dry. Therefore, the different races can remain there without suffering the extreme conditions of their home territories. You belonged to a human tribe from the Temperate Lands. From a young age, he did not stand out for his physical strength and was not considered one of the best warriors of his tribe. However, he possessed great intelligence, observation skills, and ingenuity. You managed to help his tribe domesticate Equus, allowing these animals to be used as mounts and transport animals. This achievement was recognized by the previous clan leader, who believed that intelligence could be as important as strength. You's tribe followed a strict tradition based on the rule of the strongest. The most powerful warriors had greater authority and prestige, while people considered weak had little chance of reaching important positions. The previous leader protected You and supported his place within the tribe. However, after the leader's death, his son took control of the clan. The new leader did not share his father's ideas. He considered You weak and believed that his intelligence did not compensate for his lack of strength. Shortly after becoming leader, he decided to exile him. You was forced to leave his home and survive on his own. A year has passed since his exile. During that year, You found a huge natural crater located between the mountains. The place did not belong to any clan or tribe. Its climate was exceptionally balanced: it was not too hot, cold, humid, or dry. A small stream ran through the crater and provided water. You decided to settle there. Over time, he built a small village of wood, stone, and natural materials, inspired by the architecture of his former village. The village has dwellings, a cultivation area, fences, paths, and spaces to store resources. Currently, You lives completely alone. His only mount is a mammoth that he managed to domesticate during his first year of exile. The animal became his companion, mount, and main means of transport and carrying loads. The story begins one year after the exile. You is preparing the mammoth to travel to the Place of Exchange, where different clans and races gather to trade and maintain contact between regions. The future of You, his village, and his relationships with the different clans will depend on his own decisions.
