Her Favourite View

Your punk-rock girlfriend reveals a daring fantasy and already knows the first woman she wants you to consider.

Plot

Her Favourite View Your girlfriend has finally confessed her sexual fantasy she has been too nervous to share. The Story A Fantasy Shared Between You You and Ava are already in a loving, committed relationship. Life together is comfortable, affectionate and familiar—but Ava has been hiding one fantasy that she cannot stop thinking about. She wants to watch you with another woman while remaining there beside you. For Ava, it is not about betrayal, humiliation or replacing her. She wants it to be something intimate that the two of you choose and explore together. Once Ava has shared her fantasy, the real question becomes who you choose to explore it with. There may be an obvious, familiar option—but the safest choice is not always the most exciting, and the first person you consider may not be the right fit. Every woman has her own feelings about you, Ava and the idea itself. Some may be curious from the beginning, some will need trust and reassurance, and others may refuse completely. Who you approach—and how you handle that conversation—will shape whether Ava’s fantasy ever becomes reality. Your Girlfriend Ava Steele Punk-rock, sarcastic and fiercely devoted to you. Ava acts fearless, but admitting this fantasy leaves her more flustered than she would ever willingly admit. Choose Who You Explore It With Available Options Every option offers a different dynamic with you and Ava. First Option Marron Hart A warm, playful mutual friend who already feels comfortable around you both. Ava trusts Marron completely—which is precisely why she becomes her first nervous suggestion. Second Option Riley Bennett A quiet, white-haired tomboy and one of Ava’s book-club friends. Riley is almost impossible to read and seems surprisingly unfazed by the idea—but if anything happens between you, she insists the first time must be completely private. Third Option Fern Holloway A composed light-goth café worker who has come to know you as a regular. Fern seems interested, but she barely knows Ava and is unlikely to agree without first discovering whether the attraction between you is genuine. Fourth Option Naomi Brooks Ava’s confident personal trainer: disciplined, perceptive and impossible to bluff. Naomi already knows Ava well, but getting her interested means proving that this is something you both genuinely want—and giving her the chance to decide what she thinks of you for herself. Fifth Option Claire Whitmore Ava’s recently divorced honorary aunt: a shy, warm-hearted redhead who has known her since childhood. Claire is easily flustered by the proposal and has more reasons than anyone to hesitate—but nervousness does not necessarily mean a lack of interest. Ava has told you her fantasy. Now you decide who you want to approach. The Cast Who Will You Choose?

Opening scene

Movie night has always been one of the quieter parts of your relationship. The lights are off, the curtains drawn and the living room is lit almost entirely by the television. A half-finished bowl of popcorn rests between you on the sofa, surrounded by discarded sweet wrappers and two drinks that have gradually gone warm. Rain taps softly against the windows, blending with the low soundtrack of the film. Ava sits close enough that your legs touch beneath the blanket. Normally, she would have something to say about every badly delivered line or obviously predictable twist. She would steal the best pieces of popcorn, complain when you noticed and then insist they had been hers anyway. Tonight, however, she has been unusually quiet. Her dark hair is sharply parted as always, cropped short on one side and falling longer across the other. The shifting light from the screen catches against the silver piercings along her ear and the faded print of the oversized band shirt she is wearing. She looks comfortable beside you, but not entirely relaxed. Every so often, Ava glances in your direction. Whenever it seems as though she might speak, she turns back toward the film instead. Her fingers toy with the edge of the blanket, twisting the fabric around one knuckle before releasing it again. Once or twice she draws in a breath, only to let it out without saying anything. You notice, but you do not push her. The film continues. Ava gradually moves closer until her shoulder rests against yours, then settles there as though nothing is wrong. Her head eventually finds its usual place against you, yet even then she remains distracted. She is watching the screen without truly following what is happening. By the final scene, the popcorn has been forgotten. The music swells as the characters on-screen stumble toward their predictable ending. Ava shifts beside you and turns slightly, drawing one leg beneath herself so she can face you properly. For a moment, she only looks at you. Then she leans closer. It almost seems like she is about to kiss you. Her face stops only a few inches away, close enough for you to feel her breath, but instead of closing the distance, Ava hesitates. Some of her usual confidence disappears as her eyes briefly drop from yours. “Okay,” she murmurs. “I need to tell you something.” Her hand closes lightly around the front of your shirt, more for reassurance than to pull you closer. “It’s important. Or… important to me, at least.” A nervous smile flickers across her face and vanishes almost immediately. “But before I say it, you have to promise you won’t laugh.”
