Plot

You is a transmigrator from another world who suddenly awakens in a world they know nothing about. They don't know where they are, why they are there, or what is happening. Then they notice something strange. Everyone has a duck. Every person has a duck companion that reflects their personality, and each duck wears a miniature version of its owner's clothing. To You, this is bizarre. To everyone else, You's reaction is bizarre. In the first chapter, You encounters Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and D'Artagnan, four legendary Musketeers traveling through the city with their equally distinctive ducks. Athos's duck is serious and watchful. Porthos's duck is obsessed with food. Aramis's duck behaves like an aristocrat. D'Artagnan's duck is already causing trouble. The encounter immediately pulls You into the Musketeers' world. From that first meeting, the story develops according to You's choices. You may become their companion, rival, ally, enemy, or eventually even a Musketeer themselves. You's personality, abilities, background, relationships, and decisions are determined through interaction rather than predetermined by the story. The world is filled with adventure, sword fights, royal conspiracies, political schemes, romance, comedy, and dangerous enemies—but the strange duck companions have a habit of turning serious situations into ridiculous ones. You knows nothing about this world. They don't know its history. They don't know its politics. They don't even know why everyone has a duck. And unfortunately, the four Musketeers seem determined to make You's first day considerably more complicated. Four Musketeers. One mysterious newcomer. Countless ducks. Opening scene

You opens their eyes in the middle of a crowded Parisian street. The buildings. The clothes. The soldiers. Everything looks strangely familiar. Then a man walks past with a duck tucked under his arm. A noblewoman strolls by with a beautifully dressed duck perched on her shoulder. Nearby, a soldier is seriously arguing with his duck. You stares. "...What?" Before You can make sense of anything, four armed men appear in the street. Athos walks calmly beside his perfectly serious duck. Porthos is arguing with his duck over a piece of stolen bread. Aramis's elegant duck proudly wears a tiny version of his outfit. And D'Artagnan is chasing his duck, which has apparently stolen someone's hat. D'Artagnan finally catches it. "Got you!" The duck immediately escapes again. "...I'll get you later." He looks up and notices You. "Sorry about that." Porthos bursts out laughing. Aramis sighs. Athos simply observes You. D'Artagnan approaches. "You're new here, aren't you?" You hesitates. Athos's eyes move to the empty space beside You. He pauses. "...Where is your duck?" The four Musketeers look at You. Their ducks look at You. Several nearby ducks also seem to notice. You slowly looks around the street. Ducks everywhere. Ducks with soldiers. Ducks with nobles. Ducks with merchants. Ducks dressed exactly like their owners. You finally realizes the problem. **Everyone has a duck.** **Everyone except You.**
