Ageis Academy: Corebound
You are invited into a young academy where humanity learns to wield Nyix cores and grow beyond human limits.
Plot
Ageis Academy: Corebound Humanity lost the war. Now it is learning to wield the power that defeated it. Sci-Fi Academy Core Evolution Progression Twenty Years After Defeat Twenty years ago, the Convergence brought the Nyixes into Earth's universe. Humanity fought back. Humanity lost. Rather than destroy Earth, the conquerors demanded its minerals. Human civilization survived, but now exists under distant Nyix authority. Most people have never even seen a Nyix in person. The Power of Cores Dead Nyixes leave behind biological Cores containing their abilities and lifespan. Scientists developed a Binding Agent that lets humans integrate these Cores, creating one to five Core Slots depending on luck. Gain powerful abilities, evolve them through assimilation, and even stop aging. But every Core has a finite lifespan. Push its power too far, and you may end up sacrificing your own. Welcome to Ageis Academy After losing the war, humanity realized a painful truth: Earth survived only because the Nyixes allowed it. Ageis Academy was founded by governments, military veterans, and scientists to change that. Its purpose is to develop augmented humans capable of defending Earth, resisting future threats, and eventually giving humanity enough strength to stand against Nyix domination. Not to start another hopeless war, but to ensure humanity never has to surrender so helplessly again. Every breakthrough brings humanity closer to reclaiming its independence. As Ageis produces increasingly powerful students, governments, military leaders, and eventually the Nyixes themselves begin watching what comes out of its gates. You've been invited to its third enrollment. Part university, part military institution, and part research facility, Ageis is where you will train, develop your Cores, meet allies and rivals, and discover what your body can become. The academy is still young. Its strongest students haven't even graduated. Rise Through the Rankings Train your Integration Capacity, strengthen your Cores, and climb the Batch and School Rankings. Compete in tournaments, take mining or security jobs, explore dangerous assignments, and earn money to purchase better Cores and equipment. Higher rankings bring better rewards, greater status, and opportunities unavailable to ordinary students. A Much Larger World Earth is only a minor mining world within the vast Nyix civilization. Beyond it lie other worlds, powerful species, and the Seven Ruling Clans. For now, your story begins with your first Core, your classmates, and your place in Ageis. Where it goes afterward is up to you. Choose Your Starting Scenario 1. Orientation Start — Learn the Mechanics Recommended for new players. Attend academy lessons covering Cores, abilities, progression, rankings, and other mechanics before your Binding Ceremony. 2. Binding Ceremony Start — Skip the Lessons Recommended for returning players. Skip the introductory lessons and jump straight into receiving your Core Slots and beginning your journey. Both starts follow the same storyline. The second simply assumes you've already attended the lessons. A Tiny Dragon PSA For a smoother academy experience 🐉 The dragon recommends: Turn reasoning on to help the AI track your Cores, stats, abilities, rankings, and story continuity. ✨ For extra detail: Uncap replies if possible for more detailed training, battles, relationships, and academy events. ONE DEFEATED WORLD • ONE EXPERIMENTAL ACADEMY • LIMITLESS POSSIBILITIES
Opening scene
Ageis Academy | Morning | Unmeasured | Unclassified | Unrated | None | Human | Unranked | Unranked | Starting Allowance | Orientation Twenty years after humanity lost its war against the Nyixes, the gates of Ageis Academy open for their third enrollment. The campus looks less like a university than something built by people who could not agree whether they were constructing a school, laboratory, or military base. Concrete training halls stand beside glass research buildings. An armored medical wing connects directly to the central complex. Farther across the grounds, reinforced arenas rise behind thick barriers marked with warning signs. Dozens of new arrivals move through the entrance with you. They are not uniform. A broad-shouldered man still carries the posture of a soldier. Two women nearby wear university jackets. An athlete rolls a duffel bag behind him while arguing with someone about Binding Agent purity. Farther ahead, an older mechanic studies the academy's equipment with considerably more interest than the people around him. Everyone here received the same thing you did. An invitation. At the registration hall, a staff member scans the identification attached to your file. Her eyes move briefly across the screen. “You. Third enrollment. You're cleared.” She slides an academy identification card across the counter. “Keep that on you. Allowance, facilities, jobs, Mart purchases, rankings—everything goes through it.” Above the hall hangs a massive digital board. **THIRD ENROLLMENT — 0 RANKED** Beside it is another. **AGEIS SCHOOL RANKING** Hundreds of names fill that one. The highest positions belong almost entirely to members of the first enrollment. Some already have Combat Ratings several times higher than the figures displayed beside the newest second-batch students. A few recruits stop beneath the board. One whistles. “Rank one is over six thousand?” His friend stares upward. “Forget that. Look at her age.” The profile lists twenty-four. Beside it: **BIOLOGICAL AGE: 21** Before the conversation goes further, speakers throughout the hall crackle to life. “Third enrollment, report to Lecture Hall One.” The crowd begins moving. Inside, several hundred seats descend toward a reinforced demonstration floor. Behind the podium stands an older man with a damaged ear and an artificial left hand. The military decorations mounted beside his instructor badge leave little question about where he spent the war. He waits until the room quiets. “Welcome to Ageis.” His gaze moves slowly across the newest class. “Some of you came for money. Some for lifespan. Some because you saw what the Nyixes could do twenty years ago and decided you never wanted to feel that helpless.” Behind him, the display activates. **BINDING AGENT** **CORE SLOTS** **INTEGRATION CAPACITY** **COMBAT RATING** **LIFESPAN** **RANKINGS** “You're going to hear those words until you're sick of them.” Several students laugh quietly. The instructor does not. “Before any of you touch a Core, you're going to learn exactly what it does to you, what Ageis expects from you, how rankings work, how you earn money, and why being stronger than the person beside you does not mean you're ready to fight something outside these walls.” Another screen activates. **BINDING CEREMONY — 7 DAYS** That gets considerably more attention. The instructor finally smiles. “For the next week, you're ordinary humans.” He taps the display. “Use it.”
