The answers are scattered across Discord servers, affiliate networks and video descriptions, and for most apps the honest answer is "no, not publicly". This page collects what we could verify for the apps creators ask about most, as of 15 October 2026, in one table. Disclosure up front: we are the ISEKAI ZERO team, we run one of the programs listed, and we have tried to be as fair about the others as we are about our own.

Why so few AI chat apps pay creators
Three reasons, and they matter when you decide what to promote.
Subscription apps protect the subscription. When an app sells one monthly plan, every dollar of commission comes straight out of a fixed price, so most of them either pay nothing or pay a flat fee for a single video and move on.
Most games treat creators as ad inventory, not partners. Selling credits does not make an app generous. Gacha and mobile games have run on credit packs for a decade and almost none of them share a cent. Their marketing is built on install attribution: a flat fee or a cost-per-install deal, a code so the video can be measured, and a comparison with what the same money would buy in ads. Once the video is paid for, everything the player spends afterwards belongs to the game. That is the PolyBuzz model, and it is the default in gaming.
Revenue share happens where creators are already in the payout ledger. The programs in the table that pay a percentage both sell credits rather than one plan, which makes sharing possible, but what makes it happen is a decision. ISEKAI ZERO already pays the people who build its storylines from the Arcane players actually spend on them; an affiliate is the same ledger with a different code. If an app does not pay its own creators, do not expect it to pay yours.
App by app
Does Character.AI have an affiliate program?
No. Character.AI has never run a public affiliate or referral program, and it is not the moment to expect one: the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in Delaware on 12 October 2026, with a sale process running through November. If you cover Character.AI, the creator opportunity right now is the exodus, not a partnership. Our page on whether Character.AI is shutting down has the timeline and what players can do with their chats.
Does PolyBuzz pay creators?
Yes, but not as an affiliate. PolyBuzz buys sponsored videos. We searched YouTube for its attribution link and found roughly 190 channels that have run a paid PolyBuzz integration, about 15 to 30 sponsored videos a month through 2026, each with a promo code like "RECON55" in the description. Those are flat fees, negotiated per video, and the code is there so PolyBuzz can measure installs, not so you earn on them later. Its separate Creator Brief Program, run through its Discord, rewards selected character makers with a membership and Discover-page exposure rather than money. If you are a channel they want, a PolyBuzz deal is real income for one video. It is just not recurring.
Does Talkie AI have an affiliate program?
Not any more. Talkie, made by MiniMax, ran one of the biggest creator pushes in this category: our sweep found about 270 channels that published a sponsored Talkie video between June 2024 and March 2025, including comedy channels with millions of subscribers. Then it stopped. We found no new Talkie-sponsored videos after spring 2025 and no public affiliate page. Searching "Talkie AI affiliate program" mostly returns Talkio, an unrelated language-learning app.
Does Janitor AI have an affiliate program?
No. Janitor AI has no public affiliate program and no payout for the people who write its characters. It introduced a paid Janitor+ tier in June 2026, which is where its revenue comes from, but nothing flows back to creators or promoters.
Does Chai have an affiliate program?
No. Chai ranks bots and their creators by engagement and shows creators how their characters perform, but it does not share revenue with them, and it has no public affiliate program for promoters.
Does Replika have an affiliate program?
No, and this one trips people up. Searching for a Replika affiliate program returns "Replika Software", a Shopify app that helps online stores run their own affiliate schemes. It is a different company with the same name. Luka, the company behind the Replika companion app, has no public affiliate program.
Does CrushOn AI have an affiliate program?
Yes. CrushOn runs its program on the Impact affiliate network, and third-party listings put it at up to 30% recurring commission for 12 months after the referral, with a 30-day cookie. We could not confirm those numbers on CrushOn's own site, so check the terms inside Impact before you plan around them.
Does Zeta have a creator program?
Not for referrals. Scatter Lab, which makes Zeta, runs creator contests instead: the 2026 Zeta Global Creator Contest with Barunson E&A had a prize pool of 100 million won and was open to creators active in Korea and Japan. If you are outside those markets, or you want ongoing income rather than a prize, there is nothing to apply for.
Does OOC have an affiliate program?
By invitation only. OOC, the playable-anime app from Wrtn, spends most of its marketing budget on its own YouTube pre-roll. In our September 2026 sweep we found creator codes with a handful of small channels and one VTuber deal, with no published terms. Our OOC review covers the app itself.
Does ISEKAI ZERO have an affiliate program?
Yes. The full terms are on the affiliates page; the short version is below.
How the ISEKAI ZERO program works
ISEKAI ZERO is an AI isekai roleplay game: structured stories with a cast, a shared memory across characters and a creator economy where the people who build worlds are paid from actual play. It sells credit packs called Arcane rather than one monthly plan, which is what makes revenue share possible.
| What | Terms |
|---|---|
| First purchase | 25% of the Arcane value of the fan's first pack |
| Every purchase after | 15% of the Arcane value |
| Window | 6 months per fan, from the day they join with your code |
| Which purchases count | Any credit pack or custom top-up, on the web, App Store or Google Play, valued at 1 USD = 100 Arcane. Bonus Arcane from offers does not count |
| Fan bonus | Fans who join with your code get 25% extra Arcane when their first purchase is the 1,000 Arcane pack |
| Hold | Credited to your earnings balance 7 days after each purchase, refunds excluded |
| Withdrawal | From 50 USD by bank transfer or crypto, from the app, whenever you like |
| Tracking | Your own code plus tagged links, so you can see clicks, sign-ups and purchases per video or post |
| Who can apply | Creators with at least 10,000 followers across the channels they list. Every application is read by a person |
A worked example: a fan joins with your code and buys the 1,000 Arcane pack ($10), then two 500 Arcane packs ($5 each) over the next few months. You earn $2.50 on the first pack and $0.75 on each of the next two, $4.00 from that one fan, and they received 200 bonus Arcane on their first pack for using your code. A channel that sends a steady stream of players is paid on all of them, for six months each, with no cap on how many fans you refer.
Larger channels can ask for adjusted rates, and we are open to a guaranteed minimum against commission for creators with a proven audience in this genre. Mention it when you apply.
Why we pay creators at all
ISEKAI ZERO was built on one idea about creators, and it is written down in our mission: to give creators "a new canvas in the age of AI", where "their stories, worlds, and characters can live on through simulation", and to "ensure creativity is celebrated, rewarded, and never lost." The page ends with the line we quote most: "creativity should never go uncompensated."
That is not a slogan on a wall, it is how the money moves. Every AI response in a storyline has a cost, the platform adds a 30% markup, and the person who wrote the storyline receives 25% of that margin, calculated daily, on every Arcane message anyone plays in their world. The creator earnings page shows the exact arithmetic, and the affiliates page shows the running total paid out to creators so far.
The affiliate program is the same principle pointed at a different kind of creator. Our vision describes a future where entertainment is "not watched, but lived", and where artists "are not just content creators, they are world architects." A YouTuber, streamer or cosplayer who brings players through the door is building that future as much as the person who built the world, so they are paid from the same ledger, by the same rule: when your work makes someone play, you earn from it.
How to choose a program
If you cover this genre regularly, you will be offered both kinds of deal. A few things to compare before you say yes:
- Flat fee or revenue share? A flat fee pays once and is worth taking from a brand you would cover anyway. Revenue share pays for as long as the fans you sent keep playing, which rewards the channels whose audiences actually convert.
- How long does a referral last? 6 months is standard for credit-based apps; some programs offer 12. Lifetime offers in this category tend to come with other catches, so read the whole page.
- When is the money real? Look for the hold period and the payout threshold. A 7-day hold with a $50 threshold is short; 30 to 60 days and $100 is common on the big affiliate networks.
- Can you see what worked? Per-link tracking means you know which video brought the players. A program that only gives you one link cannot tell you that.
- Is it exclusive? Ours is not. Keep your PolyBuzz deal, your Talkie archive and your other codes.
