What OOC is

OOC: The Playable Anime launched in April 2026 from Wrtn Technologies, a well-funded Korean AI company, with one of the best pitches in the category: you don't read the webnovel, you step inside it. Interactive anime stories where you play the main character, with AI driving the plot. If you've seen anime ads everywhere lately that say "POV: you isekai into your favorite anime" — that's them.

What it genuinely does well

Credit where due, and there's real credit:

• The pitch and polish. Onboarding is slick, the art direction is consistent, and the "playable anime" framing is executed with real care. This isn't shovelware riding a trend — it's a serious product.
• Production quality. Scenes feel authored, not just generated. The presentation layer is among the best in the genre.
• The rating reflects it: 4.2★ on Google Play across 10,000+ reviews (August 2026). People genuinely enjoy what it does.

Where it strains: the credit math

Here's the part the ads don't cover. OOC runs on credits (as of August 2026):

• The daily check-in gives roughly 300 free credits
• The top story tier costs up to ~195 credits per generation; the mid tier ~90
• So a free day is roughly one to three top-quality messages — the story stops when they're spent
