Short list, honestly told, and then the part the "free credits hack" videos won't tell you. (We're the ISEKAI ZERO team; we make a competing app and will be upfront about that the whole way through.)

Every legit way, as of August 2026

• The signup bonus — around 500 credits for creating an account.
• The daily check-in — roughly 300 credits a day. This is the engine of free play in OOC; miss a day, lose a day.
• Spend smaller — the top story tier costs up to ~195 credits per generation, the mid tier ~90, and the Basic model is free in Character mode and cheaper in Story mode. Downshifting tiers stretches a day's credits from ~1–3 messages to considerably more, at lower quality.
• Official events — OOC runs occasional promotions through its official channels (their subreddit is r/OOC_official). Sporadic, but real.

Credit codes, hacks, and generators: the honest part

Codes: we couldn't find any public promo-code system in OOC, and the Reddit threads asking for codes come back empty. Sites listing "working OOC credit codes" are content farms harvesting clicks from exactly this search.

Hacks and generators: your credit balance lives on OOC's servers, not on your phone. Nothing you install or run client-side can add real credits — a "generator" that asks you to complete surveys is paying its operator, and one that asks for your login is stealing your account. The same goes for mod APKs claiming unlimited credits — we wrote up separately why those can't work.
